City A
As soon as Mi Xiaotao got off the private jet, she rushed to the municipal hospital. She truly wished she had wings to appear in front of Mi Xiurong in a second.
Upon arrival at the hospital, Mi Xiaotao got out of the car and sprinted towards the ward area. Lu Shaoqing understood her feelings and held her hand without a word, running alongside her.
Chiang Zhengming also eagerly wanted to see Mi Xiurong. He followed behind the two of them as they all briskly headed towards the ward area.
Following the directions from the head nurse's message, Mi Xiaotao easily found Mi Xiurong's ward.
Seeing Mi Xiurong lying on the hospital bed, she excitedly rushed over to hug her and started crying, "Mom!... Mom!... I couldn't find you anywhere, I was so worried!"
"Xiaotao, don't cry, Mom's fine!"
Mi Xiurong gently stroked Mi Xiaotao's head, soothing her emotions, "I'm sorry. If I had woken up earlier, I wouldn't have worried you for so long!"
"Mom, as long as you're okay!"
