The morning sun rose beautifully over Lorelei's private beach villa, painting the ocean in soft golden and pink hues. After a relaxing stay filled with good food, laughter, and quiet moments, it was time for Ash and his gang to continue their Orange Islands journey.
Everyone gathered at the dock near the villa. Lorelei stood with them, her long red hair catching the breeze. She looked at Ash with a soft, meaningful smile.
"I have to return to Kanto today for Elite Four duties," she said, her voice gentle but warm. "But… keep in touch, Ash. I'd like to hear how your journey progresses."
She gave him a playful wink, her eyes sparkling with newfound affection.
Ash smirked back, nodding. "I will. Thank you for everything, Lorelei. The battle, the stay, the company it meant a lot."
The girls waved goodbye as Lorelei boarded her boat. Misty, Sabrina, Daisy, and Giselle all noticed the subtle chemistry between Ash and the Ice Elite, but no one commented yet.
With one last wave, the group boarded Lapras and Shiny Gyarados and resumed their travel toward Trovita Island, where Ash's third Orange League Gym match awaited.
There was one major change in the group's dynamics.
Giselle was no longer the quiet, reserved maid who kept to herself. Ever since her confession and the intimate night with Ash, she had become more open and animated. She laughed freely, joined conversations with enthusiasm, and stayed closer to Ash, often linking her arm with his or leaning against him during the ride. The once-tsundere girl was now visibly happier, her love for Ash shining through in small, affectionate gestures.
Misty teased her gently. "Look at you, all smiley and talkative now. Being Ash's girlfriend really suits you!"
Giselle blushed but didn't deny it. "I… I'm just happy."
Ash smiled warmly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. The group felt even closer than before.
As Lapras and Shiny Gyarados glided through the sparkling waters toward Trovita Island, they came across a small island called Yambera. They decided to make a short stop to stretch their legs and rest.
While exploring the quiet town, they met a young girl named Emily. She was searching frantically for her female Nidoran, nicknamed Maria, who wore a cute orange ribbon around her neck.
"Have you seen her?" Emily asked desperately. "She ran off yesterday and I can't find her anywhere!"
Ash checked the surrounding area with his aura to find any Nidoran in that area and shook his head. When Emily pleaded for help, the group agreed without hesitation.
As they searched the area, Ash and Misty eventually bumped into a boy named Ralph, who was also looking for his male Nidoran, nicknamed Tony, who wore a blue and purple ribbon.
When Emily and Tracey returned, Ralph immediately pointed at Emily and shouted, "You! You're the kidnapper! You stole my Tony!"
Emily gasped in outrage. "What?! No! Maria is mine! You're the one who's always bothering her!"
Both trainers began arguing loudly over their Pokémon. The two Nidoran Maria (female) and Tony (male) were clearly in love with each other. They kept trying to run toward one another, nuzzling and making happy sounds, but their trainers kept pulling them apart, too stubborn to see the obvious.
Misty, the true romantic of the group, watched the scene with wide eyes. "Wait a minute… I think I get it. It's not just the Pokémon who are in love. These two trainers… they like each other too!"
Ash and the gang exchanged glances. It was clear that Ralph and Emily had feelings for each other, but their pride and stubbornness were keeping them from admitting it.
Ash stepped forward with a calm smile. "Hey, you two. Instead of fighting, why don't we help your Pokémon be together? They clearly want to be a couple. Maybe you can learn something from them."
After some persuasion, Ralph and Emily reluctantly agreed to let their Nidoran spend time together. Ash, with his natural charisma and understanding of Pokémon, gently guided the situation. He talked to both trainers separately, helping them see how much they actually cared for each other.
Ralph finally admitted, blushing furiously, "I… I've liked Emily for a long time. I just didn't know how to say it."
Emily's face turned red as she looked at Ralph. "I… I like you too, you idiot."
The two trainers finally confessed their feelings. Maria and Tony happily nuzzled together, overjoyed that their trainers had finally understood.
At that exact moment, Ash's System chimed.

Hidden Mission Completed: Helping the Tsundere Couple
Mission Details: Help the stubborn trainers Ralph and Emily realize their love for each other while allowing their Nidoran to be together.
Reward: Soothe Bell
Ash smiled as the Soothe Bell appeared in his inventory. It was a perfect item for strengthening bonds with Pokémon.
With the two trainers now happily holding hands and their Nidoran cuddling together, the group waved goodbye and resumed their journey toward Trovita Island.
Giselle leaned against Ash's side, her hand intertwined with his. "You're really good at bringing people together," she said softly, her voice full of affection.
Ash squeezed her hand gently. "I just want everyone to be happy Pokémon and people alike."
As Lapras and Shiny Gyarados carried them forward across the sparkling sea, the group felt even closer than before. New bonds had been formed, and the Orange Islands adventure continued with warmth, love, and the promise of more exciting challenges ahead.
To be continued…
