Adam charges forwards towards the main monster while spinning his blade in front of him. The smaller monsters in front of him are slashed into bits.
Adam-"Evolved skill: full moon orbital drill"
Adam creates his spiraling attack and jumps towards the main monster. Adam thrusts the attack forward into the monster's belly and starts to drill a hole through it. The spiral grows with such power that it looks like a small tornado.
Adam-"This attack gets power from both strength and speed. Since both are multiplied by ten, means this attack will be a hundred times stronger!"
Adam pierces through the monsters stomach and lifts the monster into the air.
Adam-"Wail on it with everything you've got!"
Elise-"Evolved skill: Nova bombardment"
Marigold-"Holy skill: holy water jet"
Joe-"Archery skill: piercing arrow"
The rest of the team launches their projectile attacks towards the monster hitting it on all sides. While it's undergoing its barrage Damion jumps on top of it.
Damion-"Dark skill: mana unbinding"
Damion begins forcing the dark mana out of the monster's body. The monster howls from the combined attack.
Marigold(in her head)-"We've managed to weaken the monster considerably. As long as we keep hitting it with everything we've got it should run out of steam before we do"
A smaller monster runs up behind Marigold to try to attack her. One of Julius's robogolems attacks the smaller monster slicing it to shreds with its wood chipper arm.
Marigold(in her head)-"After we destroyed most of the smaller monsters the robogolems are able to take care of the stragglers"
Elise-"You seemed like a big challenge before! Evolved skill: nova bombardment!"
Elise launches another barrage of energy beams.
Elise-"But now you're just a big punching bag"
Joe-"Archery skill: rapid fire"
Joe(in his head)-"Please go down, please go down, please go down"
Damion-"Desmond listen to me! I'll get you out of there"
Adam(in his head)-"Who is Des-?"
The monster screams and creates a shockwave that launches Adam and Damion away. The monster then heals the hole in its stomach. Next the monster condenses spacial magic in its mouth and creates a beam that it launches towards Adam.
Adam-"Evolved skill:-"
The beam impacts Adam's sword before he could try to parry it.
Adam(in his head)-"It's faster than Julius. I can't counter it in time"
Adam's sword begins to form cracks from the force of the attack. Adam is continuously pushed back from the beam and is launched deep into the cavern wall.
Elise-"Adam!"
The monster lands back on its feet and begins harnessing more dark spacial magic.
Joe-"Shouldn't the monster be getting weaker!?"
Marigold-"It can constantly regenerate. Until we deplete all of its mana it will keep fighting at full power!"
Joe-"What's it at now!?"
Marigold-"How should I know!?"
The monster screams and launches dozens of spheres into the air. The spheres begin splitting into multiple beams that launch towards the ground that cause large explosions.
Elise-"Evasive action!"
Joe-"How!?"
The team begins running around frantically to dodge all of the incoming attacks.
Elise(in her head)-"These beams are way too fast. I can't even tell where they are going to land. I need to get underground"
Elise-"Evolved skill: shooting star"
Elise launches downward and melts through the ground. Damion is charging towards the monster and one of the beams blasts through his arm.
Damion-"Dark skill: damage unbinding"
Damion regrows his arm. Damion raises that regrown arm in the air.
Damion-"Dark skill: space unbinding"
Using his skill Damion is able to remove the high density of the spacial attacks to nullify them. He holds the spell circle above his head like an umbrella as he continues to run towards the monster. The monster turns its attention to Damion and begins to punch downwards at him. Before it hits him Elise blasts out of the ground and thrusts herself into the monster's arm to redirect it upwards.
Damion-"Dark skill: soul unbinding"
Once again Damion tries to pull Desmond's soul out of the monster. In response the monster uses its other arm to begin creating more black thorn vines and opens its mouth to create another spacial beam.
Adam-"Evolved skill: Lunar tidal wave, tsunami of slashes"
Joe-"Archery skill: heavy arrow"
Adam creates thousands of slashes that fly towards the mass of vines and cuts them down. Meanwhile Joe creates an arrow with a large ball on the end that he shoots towards the monster's head to slightly change its direction causing the beam to miss. Desmond's soul begins to slowly get dragged out of the monster's body.
Elise-"You're taking its soul out? Why does it look like a person?"
Damion-"Almost there"
The monster tries to use the arm Elise is pushing against to grab Damion. Elise continues to thrust upwards to stop the arm.
Adam-"Evolved skill: full moon orbital drill"
Adam launches forward and pierces through the monster's other arm. Doing so causes his already damaged sword to break in half.
Joe-"Archery skill: rapid fire"
Joe begins attacking the hand of the arm that Elise is holding back.
Marigold-"Holy skill: holy water jet"
Marigold blasts holy water at the chopped off arm to prevent it from regenerating.
Julius's robogolems jump on the back of the main monster's head and begin tearing away at its head with their wood chipper arms.
Adam, Elise, Joe, and Marigold(Yelling in unison)-"Just go down already!"
Damion-"Get out of there, Desmond!"
Damion pulls Desmond's soul out of the monster. Desmond's soul starts to merge with Damion. This causes part of Damion's hair to turn white.
Desmond-"Thank you, brother"
