Raved gnawed at his bottom lip, while looking outside. The hotter he got, the more uncomfortable he became.
It was like a strange itch was trying to crawl its way out of his skin. His clothes started to become extremely irritating, causing him to involuntarily yawn at his clothes trying to put some space between them and his sensitive skin".
He hissed trying and failing to find a comfortable position.
"Are we almost there?"
He growled.
Sage just hummed in response.
The car took a left and after a minute came to a stop in front of a luxurious apartment building.
Above it in big gold letters was written.
Lux Haven.
Rave had momentarily forgotten his discomfort as he looked at the clean Regency-style building.
Large tinted windows loomed overhead hiding unknown secrets within. Raven was impressed by the dazzling building in front of him.
Raven was about to unbuckle his seat belt when he felt Sage stiffen beside him. A suffocating and dangerous scent rolled off him in waves.
His grip on his phone was making a snapping sound. It was clear to Raven how unaware of his actions he was. He took a quick look in the direction Sage's rage was directed towards.
A young alpha was chatting away on his cell a huge grin on his face.
He was pretty average look I g to Raven. Sort brown hair. A set of deep brown eyes softened just slightly as he spoke. Thin lips curving into another smile.
His frame was on the bulky side but not a day he clearly worked out. His clothes fit snug display his body showing off his hard work.
Sage gave a quick but direct order to the driver.
"Richard to my apartment."
"Your apartment!? Why!"
Rave squeaked his eyes going wide as the car pulled away from the curb already on its new course.
"Because you need a safe place to go and I have some unfinished business to attend to."
Rave hummed as he crossed his arms his eyes glaring suspiciously at Sage.
His entire persona shifted. His once warm eyes became cold and sharp as a blade as if a switch had been flicked.
His entire body became domineering this once door posture straightened making him much taller than previously. His arms bulged against his jacket his t-shirt stretched across his chest. Raven's eyes widened as he watched his transformation.
A slow smirk stretched across Raven's lips as he looked out the window. This was a nice little surprise.
Sage immediately pulled out his cell his fingers moved quickly. He gave a quick glance toward the brooding omaga next to him then to the road ahead.
Raven for a moment had wondered if Sage was joking about him staying at his apartment but nope he wasn't. Raven was currently being not too gently directed to an elevator of one of the biggest conglomerate corporations in the world.
Pharma Tec. It was a mix of technology and pharmaceuticals both making and researching different medicines and robotics. And why may you ask was he in an actual office build well that's because Sage apparently owned a penthouse at the fucking top of it, that's why.
Once hey had arrived Raven had looked up at the building with confusion but Sage wasn't even willing to pause to clarify just guiding Raven around using the center of his back why he, Sage, was busy cursing out whoever was on the other end of the phone.
From what Raven could decipher, Sage was looking for someone and whoever he had contacted wasn't able to perform his or her task well.
Raven leand into Sage's hand guiding him lost in his own thoughts. Only once they reached the door to the apartment did he snap out of it.
The sound of mechanical locks unlocking riverbarated along the empty marble corridor.
In seconds the door opened automatically Sage's distinct scent immediately wrapped around Raven like an invisible blanket.
He took an unsteady step back hitting an immovable wall of a stiff Alpha staring down at him an eyebrow drawn questioningly.
"Well go on, get in."
Sage's chest rumbled against Ravens back sending a delicious unwanted thrill down his spine.
Every five of his being was now attuned to Sage's every breath. It was exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
Raven became slightly dizzy from the constant pull and push of his rollercoaster of emotions caused by this damed heat. He just wished his mind and body would just cooperate.
His irritation flaring up and he stormed inside with a huff. He spun around his arms extended.
"We'll where too."
He practically seathed as he glared at Sage. Who simply printed to a door to the left while strolling right past Raven his ear still attached to his phone.
Raven just rolled his eyes spinning on the ball of his feet heading straight for the door. He paused for a second his eyes catching on the laptop sitting on the counter just to his right.
A wicked smile formed on his lips as he slid onto the chair bar chair swiveling forward his hands already opening the laptop.
His hands hovered over the keyboard.
"I'm heading out for a bit, make yourself at home."
Sage didn't give Raven a single glance as he walked out the door his hand moving quickly as he texted away.
"Uh huh."
Raven responded moving his eyes back to the computer. His smile never left his face as his fingers tapped away on the keyboard.
He bit his bottom lip as he finally finished what he was doing. He huffed as he swayed away from the computer and into his new room.
For now at least.
By the time Sage returned it was already dark outside and Raven was in full heat. He had locked the door to his room but the Saund or Sage's inhumane growl penetrated through the door Raven's head snapped off his pillow that was now soaked from sweat and saliva.
He had bitten it countless times as his heat would reach it's peak. His insides would clench making his insides cramp up into
excruciating agony.
He bit into the plush pillow every time. His clothes were already cas aside his pants wet and most definitely stained with his excretions.
Through his haze, he remembered the laptop. He hoped Sage would look at it before he left be he sound of a door slamming erased the hat hope.
"What a fucking princess."
Raven grumbled to himself as he dragged his sorebody from the bed and to the door. His hand only hesitated for a mere second before it opened with a soft click.
