Severus looked away from the previously stunned Ice Monarch and turned his attention to the system screen beside him. His levels kept rising, reaching level 450. His points exploded, and he felt his body growing more and more powerful.

The fight was so frantic that he had no time to increase his status with all 680 extra points he received.
Now, with the Ice Monarch stunned by the turn of the battle, he had his chance. Severus began adding points into just one attribute.

He had increased more than 20% of his magical power since obtaining the Black Heart. His magical power exploded once again, growing silently within him.
Severus smiled as he faced the Ice Monarch, who at that moment was watching him, stunned.
"He's getting stronger!?" The Ice Monarch realized it, but unaware of the system's existence, believed it was directly linked to the increase of shadows on the battlefield.
His own soldiers, transformed into enemy shadows...
How could he forget? Just like the influence within him, coming from the very entity he had absorbed by using the ring... They had forgotten what the Monarch of Shadows truly represented.
Now, he paid for his lack of caution, believing that initially he would be dealing with a Ruler, and not the Monarch himself.
Severus began receiving new notifications. The staff he was using reacted.

Severus checked, surprised, that the staff had begun granting additional attributes, and he felt even more powerful. As he approached the 15000-point mark, he seemed to explode with magic.
The Ice Monarch began to grow afraid. He could clearly feel Severus's magic increasing exponentially.
Then, Severus finally raised the staff. Preparing his magic, it was time to destroy all the ice monsters.
The sky began to be covered by dense clouds, catching the helicopters by surprise. They immediately started to move away upon noticing that strange phenomenon. The entire city became engulfed in darkness, while the helicopters remained above the black cloud, which was not far from the ground, but was enough to cover all of London.
The Ice Monarch was already inclined to realize that this battle had become a failure. After everything, he had come to that world only to lose his army. How could he not hate that? Still, his hatred was worth more than his own life. He needed to escape from there.
Severus had noticed this, and because of that, he began channeling more magic to activate his next spell.
In the next moment, lightning began to cover the entire sky, cutting through the black clouds. The lightning started blue, but soon turned purple. It was very similar to the power of Baran's simulation, but infinitely more powerful. Severus stared at the Ice Monarch before pointing his staff.
In the next instant, with a roar of dragons, countless bolts of lightning descended from the sky, taking the form of Kirins. There were at least a thousand of them, striking across the entire area, hitting all the ice monsters and even some of his own shadows, since Severus could not control one hundred percent of that attack. But that did not matter. The shadows could recover. The ice monsters could not.
Light erupted with an intensity comparable to an atomic bomb exploding over the city. The people outside only saw the horizon blinded by the brightness and, in the next moment, the impact came along with a colossal explosion that echoed throughout all of England.
Severus unleashed a level of arcane magic never before seen in this world, not only over a vast area, but with absurd intensity. He had drastically increased the power of the lightning, transforming it into purple lightning, far more powerful than the blue lightning he usually used.
The entire area descended into frenzy. The city center was completely destroyed, while shadows still remained scattered throughout the place. Most of the ice monsters had been eliminated. Out of three hundred and fifty thousand, more than two hundred thousand were simply killed by that single attack, which took London along with it.
At the center of the destruction, there was an enormous crater. Inside it remained a block of ice created by the Ice Monarch as a last resort to escape. And he succeeded, though wounded.
Severus clicked his tongue when he saw him open a portal and disappear through it as the thunder destroyed everything.
The remaining monsters tried to recover, many still severely injured. Severus observed the corpses, some of which had completely disappeared, and once again spoke his words.
"Arise."
As soon as he spoke, the two hundred thousand bodies began to rise. Black smoke appeared out of nowhere, even in places where the corpses had been completely annihilated.
He watched the new monster shadows rise and did not need to say anything else. Simply, they advanced against the remaining enemies.
Before, there had been two hundred and fifty thousand shadows. Now, there were four hundred and fifty thousand against only one hundred and fifty thousand ice monsters. They stood no chance. They were surrounded and destroyed by their own former companions, now transformed into shadows.
Severus let the massacre continue. The Ice Monarch had lost his entire army. Now, he was wounded somewhere.
Severus slowly approached the place through which he had escaped.
"I don't think you're going to escape like that," he murmured.
Immediately, Severus withdrew the staff and slammed it against the ground, beginning to create a time-reversal spell right there. He used a concept he had studied in the forbidden section of Hogwarts. Severus knew well how a Time-Turner worked and transformed that principle into magic, creating, right there, an entirely new spell, specifying it to act only within an area isolated from the rest of the world.
The entire world would not change, but that small area would.
Severus activated the spell.
A portal appeared immediately. Emerging from it was the wounded Ice Monarch, missing an arm and with his body bleeding, desperately advancing along the original timeline as he tried to escape. However, within that isolated area, time was rewinding.
He ran backward through the flow of time until he stopped right in front of Severus.
For the Ice Monarch, he was still fleeing from the attack coming from the sky, escaping the lightning, when suddenly he felt something wrong, as if reality itself had been altered. In an instant, he found himself inside an enormous crater, with all his soldiers being destroyed. He barely had time to react or understand what was happening.
In the next moment, his body was pierced by Severus's staff.
"It's over, Rosen." With those words, Severus tightened his grip on the staff.
A dark sphere with gravitational powers emerged inside the Ice Monarch's body, who barely had time to react before feeling his body being swallowed. The physics within him were distorted, as if a true black hole had formed inside him. The laws of physics no longer functioned there.
The Ice Monarch descended into complete chaos, dying right there, as everything inside his body was sucked in. It was a horrific death.
Severus then withdrew the staff, still with a small black hole active at its tip. That small anomaly could destroy an entire planet, perhaps even a solar system or neighboring systems if it became unstable. Because of that, he could not keep it active at the tip of the staff, now possessing the ability to control something so destructive.
He extinguished the black hole, and the Ice Monarch's body collapsed to the ground, dead. A ring rolled beside him, the Ice Monarch's ring...
The clouds in the sky began to dissipate, revealing the sun once again. The battle had not lasted more than two hours.
Severus stood among the one hundred and fifty thousand bodies of dead shadows that had been massacred all around. His army now numbered more than six hundred thousand shadows, spread throughout the destroyed area.
The cameras finally obtained a clear view of the scene and began transmitting information to the world, showing the destruction of the location, covered in black dots representing the shadows, with the white monsters gone.
Severus had reached level 580, and his status continued to rise since level 450.
Bellion appeared at that moment beside John, kneeling down.
"My sovereign, the battle has ended. And you, as was to be expected, emerged victorious. You demonstrated your greatness before an enemy who did not have even the slightest chance," he said, with a certain flattery.
At the same time, Beru descended at high speed, landing beside Bellion and kneeling as well. He looked at Severus with tears in his eyes, as if proud of his master.
Severus made a grimace.
"Let's go. We're done," he said, before all six hundred thousand shadows around him.
At his command, they all began to return to his feet. They advanced rapidly, shrinking little by little, until the last one disappeared. Severus knew there were helicopters in the sky and that it was not a pleasant sight for the world to see someone with so much power. It was better not to display that for too long.
He would give explanations later that same day, but that battle had been quick. He dealt with everything in just over two hours. Even so, the entire city was completely destroyed, to the point that Tokyo had seemed in better condition when Severus faced the two-hundred-meter giant.
Meanwhile, people watched the scene of the shadows disappearing through the broadcasts. All they saw was destruction: chunks of ice and dead bodies everywhere. Nothing moved as it once had. The ice from the comet had been destroyed with Severus's final attack, but many fragments still remained scattered throughout the area.
"He won!" Rosaria shouted excitedly, at Severus's house, while his great-uncle remained beside her, sitting with his arms crossed in front of the television. All the house-elves were celebrating.
It did not take long for families to go outside their villages, celebrating outdoors. Severus had won in just a few hours. The shadows had covered the entire area where the enemy army had once been, showing that all those ice monsters had also become shadows.
Tears welled up in Lily's eyes as she hugged her parents. Pandora was bouncing with excitement, Clarice smiled broadly, and even Bellatrix seemed happy.
"And now? When will he come back?" Pandora asked, eager to see Severus.
"I don't think he'll return so soon, but he could show up at any moment, daughter," her father replied, knowing that Severus would still have to deal with authorities. Governments and the Ministry of Magic would all be focused on him, wanting to know what had happened and what would come next.
London was completely destroyed. There was no doubt about it. Severus's own attack had finished utterly devastating the capital.
Lily could not help but shudder as she remembered Severus's last words. He wanted to leave this world. Her tears of joy soon turned into tears of sadness. She knew she might lose him forever.
No one knew it yet, but Severus would soon make an announcement. Lily felt that he would do it later that same day. Even if the world saw him as a hero, from the moment he possessed such a large army, everyone would begin to distrust him. Nothing would be the same as before.
Somehow, back on the battlefield, Severus was ready to add his hundreds of points after leveling up so rapidly. He was sitting amid the clear destruction when, suddenly, the system displayed a message about his status.

Severus opened his eyes, surprised by that. "What is this?"
He did not even manage to finish the question when, suddenly, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, exploding near him. The lightning continued to descend, and Severus stepped back slightly, preparing his staff.
"At last, the time has come for us to face each other head-on, Severus Prince."
The voice was familiar, yet at the same time laden with power.
