Chapter 300 - Chapter 300: Curing Nezuko

(Finally 300 chapter so can you at least give rating, comment Or Power stones.)

After parting ways with a flustered Aoi, I continued down the hallways of the Butterfly Mansion, Yuki walking quietly at my side. The encounter had left her visibly embarrassed, and though I found her reaction amusing, I decided not to push my luck with further teasing.

"Alex-sama," Yuki finally spoke after a few moments of silence, her tone more composed now, "you should really think about how your words affect others. Not everyone can handle your... unique sense of humor."

Hearing that, I looked at Yuki. It seems she started opening up in front of me, which is good progress if you ask me.

I smirked but gave her a small nod. "Fair point, Yuki. I'll try to rein it in next time. But you have to admit, her reaction was priceless."

Yuki sighed, shaking her head, but said nothing more.

We eventually arrived at the room where Tanjiro and Nezuko were staying. I could hear faint voices from within, likely Tanjiro speaking with someone, though the words were too muffled to make out. I raised a hand to knock but paused for a moment, glancing at Yuki.

"You ready?" I asked.

She nodded, her composure fully restored. "Yes, Alex-sama."

I knocked lightly on the door, and within seconds, it slid open to reveal Tanjiro's familiar, warm smile.

"Alex-san! Yuki-san! Please, come in," he greeted enthusiastically, stepping aside to let us enter.

Inside, the room was modest but well-kept, with sunlight barely streaming in through the open windows as Nezuko still hadn't achieved sunlight immunity because of presence.

Nezuko sat on a futon, her bamboo muzzle resting on the floor beside her. Her wide, curious eyes lit up when she saw us, and it seemed she is still afraid of me somehow.

"Tanjiro," I greeted, stepping inside and giving a slight nod. "It's good to see you both looking well."

"Thank you, Alex-san," Tanjiro said, his smile never wavering. "We've been recovering after the demon hunting the other day. How have you been?"

"Busy," I said with a light chuckle, glancing briefly at Nezuko, who tilted her head in curiosity. "I've been handling a few things—important matters that needed attention. But I thought I'd drop by since I had some time. And, well, you did ask when we first met if I could help Nezuko."

At that, Tanjiro's expression shifted slightly, a flicker of hope appearing in his eyes.

"You mean...?" he began, his voice tinged with cautious optimism.

I nodded, crossing my arms. "I might be able to help her. No guarantees, but I have certain abilities that could assist in restoring her humanity—or at least speed up the process."

My blood, as a God of Bloodlines, holds many powers, such as healing, removing curses, changing a racial status, creating lesser vampires, making golems, mind control, and many more. Some of the abilities of my blood I have demonstrated previously, but even with that, curing Nezuko is not something I am completely sure about.

Of course, I can turn her back to a human using my blood, but her memory is not something I can bring back just using my blood. And there is a slight chance that she will form a connection with me.

—When I use my blood on Ubuyashiki, it is just healing, so there is no connection, but what I am about to do with Nezuko is the same as what I did to Akaza, a complete racial change. Of course, since I am not forcing her to become my subordinate like I did with Akaza, the choice is entirely hers.

I exhaled softly and turned my attention back to Tanjiro, who was waiting anxiously for my response. His hope-filled eyes bore into me, and I knew I needed to explain at least some of the risks, though not everything.

"Before we proceed, Tanjiro," I began, my tone serious, "I need to make something clear. There are risks involved in what I'm about to do. While I believe I can help Nezuko regain her humanity, there's no guarantee the process will be perfect."

Tanjiro straightened his posture, his brows furrowing in concern. "What kind of risks, Alex-san? Will it hurt Nezuko?"

I shook my head. "No, it won't harm her physically. But... it's possible that there could be unintended effects. For instance, this process might create a faint bond between her and me. It's nothing I would force, but it's a possibility that comes with the nature of the power I'll be using."

Tanjiro's gaze flicked to Nezuko, who was still watching us with wide, curious eyes. He bit his lip, clearly deep in thought, but he nodded. "I trust you, Alex-san. If you say it's possible to help her, then I believe in you. As for the bond... if it happens, we'll figure it out. Nezuko's happiness and humanity are what matter most."

His unwavering faith caught me off guard for a moment. I had expected more hesitation or even doubt, but that wasn't who Tanjiro was. He was the kind of person who would do anything for his sister, even if it meant trusting someone as enigmatic as me.

"All right," I said, softening slightly. "Let's begin."

I knelt before Nezuko, who tilted her head curiously, watching my every move. Reaching into my inventory, I pulled out a small, ornate dagger. Its blade glinted faintly in the light as I used it to slice my palm, letting a few drops of my blood pool in my hand.

Nezuko's nostrils flared as the scent of my blood filled the room, her demonic instincts stirring. But she didn't move, her trust in Tanjiro keeping her calm.

"It's okay; you can drink this. Nobody will hurt you or Tanjiro because of this," I said.

As if she understood that, she drank my blood. Then she became unconscious.
