"Yes, Mom I know, I won't be late to school I promise. Yes, I know feed the dogs at 6:00, and thaw out the chicken when I get back.'' I swear we've been through this same conversation every morning. You'd would think by now that she would find me responsible.
''Mom, I know what to do already you tell me every day.'' [ I'm just worried for you Ashley. Your all alone at home while me, and your dad are in Oregon.] "Mom, I'll be fine, oh shit I'm gonna be late, sorry mom I'll call you later okay.'' [ Honey wai-].
Whew, she really needs to stop worrying so much. First day back after spring break huh, going to be another rowdy, and tiring day especially with Emma and Lydia. Let's see I have my make-up, bag, bus money, and..... wait where's my necklace. I swear I left it on my nightstand last night oh, fuck. Shit where is it? under the couch cushions, maybe under the blankets? Shit! And the bus is almost here, screw it I need to catch the bus I can not be late the first day back.
I left out the door, locked it, and sprinted straight to the bus stop. Barely missing the bus, I get on it, and immediately hear loud screaming at the back. Jake and his two idiot friends.
I sighed hard to myself wanting this day to be over already, when I hear the loudest bitch yell my name. "Ashley! Over here!'' It was Emma my best friend that has been with me since middle school. She's still as energetic as always. Still don't know how Emma can have this much energy this early. I sit myself next to her getting ready for her non-stop talking. "Hey, did you study for the math test last night? Because I didn't, and I have no idea what my parents will do to me if they find out."
Crap. I forgot we had a test today, and it just had to be my weakest subject. " Guess were in the same boat. I knocked out as soon as I hit the bed." After doing all the chores around the house all day yesterday I was exhausted; there was no way I wouldn't pass out. I'm pretty sure I had Mr. T's class first. As the bus is moving down the road, I close my eyes and try to get myself ready for the math test.
I got off the bus, said bye to Emma and headed to Mr. T's Class. God I really don't want to take this test, I'll just try and get it over with I already know I'm going to fail.
"All right class get to your seats. As you all probably know we have a test today, now don't worry the test is pretty easy, so none of you should fail, right?" That might be easy for you to say, you're a teacher, of course the test would be easy for you. "I just passed out the test you may begin the test now." All right I just need to speed through this test then hope to god I get a good score.
