Haru extended his divine senses outward, then stopped. He could only sense 10,000 kilometers here but back in the Endless Continent, his divine sense stretched millions of kilometers and in the void, it could even cover hundreds of millions of kilometers.
"My Lord, the reason for that is the pseudo-demonized World Laws. They are suppressing our Divine Senses." Celestia explained, "But since they haven't been fully corrupted, it isn't actively attacking us."
She exhaled with relief. Their strength as Supreme Gods could temporarily withstand the World Laws' assault, but the Imperial Army couldn't. If this planet's Laws turned hostile, they would be annihilated.
"We can only ignore it for now." Haru said, "Deploy the Imperial Army according to the plan. I repeat once again, we have three objectives: find the treasures, locate demons & demonized creatures, and most importantly, secure the teleportation arrays. Also tell them to be prepared for evacuation if the Laws turn hostile."
"Understood!" The 750,000-strong Imperial Army was thus divided into thirty legions, each numbering over 20,000. With Gods and Guardian Angels accompanying each legion, they dispersed in all directions.
Only three individuals remained there. They were Haru, Celestia, and Yvonne. One peak High God and two Supreme Goddesses. Their combined power was terrifying.
"Let's explore this planet." Haru's form flickered, transforming into a golden streak that vanished towards the distant sky with Celestia and Yvonne following closely behind.
…
Location: Outer space near the Endless Continent.
A pitch-black temple floated silently near the husk of a dead star. Inside it were three ominous figures. At the center sat Malkar, the Supreme God of Destruction and the master of this temple. Flanking him were Skarion, the Supreme God of Slaughter, and Micteya, the newly ascended Supreme Goddess of Death.
Together, they comprised the apex of the Evil Pantheon. Micteya's recent promotion had bolstered their ranks, drawing numerous wild Gods to their banner. For a brief moment, their influence had threatened to eclipse even the Nature Pantheon.
Yet, despite this surge in power, they dared not strike because the Nature Pantheon wasn't alone as behind them stood three Supreme Goddesses:
-Elunara, the Elven Supreme Goddess of Nature
-Svetlana, the Supreme Goddess of Fate
-Pandora, the Supreme Goddess of Light
These three Goddesses alone were enough to suppress the Evil faction. Worse, rumors suggested an alliance between the Nature Pantheon and the Aetherium Empire, an empire protected by an Eighteen-Winged Angel Supreme Goddess. Even the Evil Gods feared such an alliance.
"We have received intelligence." Micteya broke the silence, her voice cold, "The Castle Lords and Rangers have mobilized their entire armies. Billions of them, including Haru's empire, have entered 'that' planet to hunt Dimensional Demons."
Malakar, lounging on his throne, scowled, "Endless Continent's Laws are practically hand-feeding those mortals. It even unsealed 'that' planet for them."
"That planet…" Skarion murmured, "In the Ancient Era, it was a battlefield which was lost to the Abyss and sealed away to contain the corruption."
"Exactly." Malakar snapped, unable to hide his jealousy, "Countless Gods and Demonic Gods fell there. Their corpses, Godheads, and artifacts were trapped there. Not even the Demons could loot them all. Now, the Laws have reopened the seal just to let these 'Castle Lords' scavenge our history. It is an insult to our sacrifices!"
He found a sliver of comfort only in the fact that the Gods of Truth, the current rulers of the Endless Continent, had also been denied access.
"Since the seal is broken…" Skarion ventured, greed flickering in his eyes, "…can we not intervene? That planet is almost similar to a warehouse full of Divine Crystals."
Malakar shook his head, "The Demons have occupied that planet for a hundred thousand years. Most of the Divine Crystals should've been already gone."
"Even without the Divine Crystals, there are an uncountable number of Divine Artifacts and Godheads." Skarion pressed, "Why should those mortals inherit the legacy of those fallen Gods?"
"Do you think Endless Continent's Laws will allow us entry?" Malakar asked sharply, "If we violate the rules for a few trinkets, we could be banned from returning to the Endless Continent entirely. We would then lose the chance to claim the God King's Throne."
Skarion's face twitched and he fell silent. Compared to the God King's Throne, those 'trinkets' were meaningless. He couldn't risk banishment, especially with the Goddess of Fate watching them like a hawk.
Micteya, impatient with their hesitation, spoke up, "The Aetherium Empire is empty. I watched their movements. That Emperor has taken his elites, his Angels, and all his subordinate Gods with him. The strongest defenders left behind are mere King Tier weaklings. If we shatter their defensive barrier, we can raze the empire to the ground."
Her motivation was personal. She needed to rescue her brother Maddox's soul. She feared Haru would destroy him before the agreed time for their meeting.
