The Uncertain Mist is one of the Outer Deities from the Cosmos that attempted to invade Earth. "He" is the remaining part of the Son of Chaos in the Cosmos after "He" sent "His" main consciousness down to Earth.

As the Primordial Hunger possesses Primordium and Chaos qualities, "He" prioritized devouring the Sefirot and Great Old Ones related to those qualities the most. Among the Outer Deities, "He" preferred the Uncertain Mist the most,[3] because "He" is the Chaos Gastric Juices, while the Uncertain Mist is a part of the Son of Chaos.[4]

Without the Uncertain Mist present to coordinate and unify the Outer Deities into an alliance, none dared bet on receiving support if "They" stayed behind to deal with the Lord of Mysteries.[6]
Without the Uncertain Mist, the Outer Deities would be disunited, each fighting for "Themselves", and would easily be driven back by Earth's Above the Sequences after The Apocalypse.[7]
Overseeing: With the strengthened Overseeing ability at the Great Old One level, "He" could only be harmed by existences possessing a Sefirah.[8]

It occupies a solid, massive planet in the Cosmos. The planet is shrouded in layers of ever-changing white mist.[9] The size and state of the dense white mist was indescribable.[10]
∞ History ∞
As one of the Original Creator's direct children, the Son of Chaos was the most affected by the Law of Beyonder Characteristics Convergence when the Original Creator awakened in the Pre-Epoch, resulting in part of "His" Sefirah, Beyonder Characteristics, and Uniquenesses being attracted to Earth. Part of "His" torn Sefirah later self-completed into the Nation of Disorder, while "He" retained influence over "His" lost Pathways on Earth. However, "He" was able to bypass the barrier by killing "Himself" and then resurrecting through the Black Emperor ability.[11]
In the First Epoch, the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings sealed the Genie, the consciousness of the Son of Chaos, in the Magic Wishing Lamp.[12] Most of "His" remaining parts were in the depths of the universe as the Outer Deity called the Uncertain Mist.[13]
As of 1358, the Uncertain Mist, along with the Mother Goddess of Depravity and the Mother Tree of Desire, were the three Outer Deities can bestow godhood through Boons without much difficulty.[14]
"He" is the Deity worshipped by the School of Truth, a Secret Organization founded after year 1352 of the Fifth Epoch. By 1358, the School of Truth were looking for clues to three things: the Fallen Heaven, Roselle's final mausoleum, and the Magic Wishing Lamp.[15]
During Project Vortex in 1359 of the Fifth Epoch, both the Uncertain Mist and the Genie inside the Magic Wishing Lamp were heavily injured by the combined efforts of Adam, Amon, Roselle Gustav and Bernadette Gustav.[10] The planet the Uncertain Mist was residing on shattered and "It" was forced to retreat into the depths of the endless, dead, and dark Cosmos. As "It" suffered a heavy blow, "It" would have to sleep for decades. For sixty years, the Uncertain Mist would not be able to come again, ensuring one less danger during The Apocalypse.[10]
As the Uncertain Mist would not be able to bestow any Boons till then, no more Beyonders of the Chaos Mist Pathway would appear before The Apocalypse.
During The Apocalypse, without the Uncertain Mist to coordinate and unify the Outer Deities into an alliance, none dared to bet on receiving support if "They" stayed behind to face and eliminate the Lord of Mysteries Klein Moretti.[16] As a result, once The Fool Grafted the various Sefirot away, the Outer Deities scattered according to "Their" targets.
After The Apocalypse, Klein intended to fulfill his promise to return the Magic Wishing Lamp to the universe, using it to lure out the hiding Uncertain Mist and secretly influence "Him". Without the Uncertain Mist, the Outer Deities would be disunited, and would easily be driven away.[17]
The Genie and the Uncertain Mist are hostile towards each other.[18] Whether the Uncertain Mist or the Genie would emerge victorious after "They" merged is unknown, both scenarios are equally plausible.[19]

∞↓↓CHAOS MIST PATHWAY↓↓∞
The Chaos Mist Pathway is the gray between white and black, the fog between light and darkness, the bridge between order (Justiciar Symbol2 Justiciar) and shadows (Black Emperor Symbol2 Black Emperor).[1] They represent Grayness that is the ultimate Truth of the universe, and are the manifestation of Chaos that renders all that is certain to become no longer certain. Beyonders of this Pathway can act as the "platform" that enables transactions between different parties, forming a Vortex consisting of many different forces.[2]
This Pathway is one of the new Pathways introduced in Circle of Inevitability. It exists outside the 22 Standard Pathways, but is still classified into Sequence 9 to Sequence 0.[3]
On Earth, the Beyonders of this Pathway do not advance through Potions, but by praying to the Outer Deity Uncertain Mist, who is the Above the Sequence of this Pathway, for a Boon. The corresponding Sefirah is the remaining part of the Son of Chaos's Sefirah that was not attracted to Earth and became the Nation of Disorder.
This Pathway is the only Pathway under the Uncertain Mist.[4]
∞Sequence 9: Broker∞
New Abilities[1]
• Brokering: They can facilitate transactions and exchanges through their words and connections.
Before reaching a deal, they will agree on a price with both parties, and sometimes no remuneration is required. It's mainly to establish and maintain relationships.
A Broker becomes more attuned to their certain needs and are able to find the suitable candidates needed in order to fulfill those needs and requirements.
The main purpose of Brokering is to establish and maintain connections, which does not involve or utilize any supernatural power.
• Exceptional Eloquence: Upon advancement, a Broker will obtain a mastery of language.
As a side effect of Exceptional Eloquence, they can decipher a target's emotions through observance of their facial expression and words.
• Gray Perception: They can sense the Gray Domain between white and black.
White represents Order and black represents Disorder.
∞Sequence 8: Shadow Merchant∞
New Abilities[1]
•Shadow Creature Detection: They can detect mysterious and dangerous creatures hidden in the Darkness and Shadows while remaining safe from their attacks.
This allows a Shadow Merchant to Broker deals with said creatures.
There are limitations regarding their safety towards these creatures.
They will endure the corresponding Corruption if they see something they shouldn't.
They can't attack first or secretly do anything that disadvantages the other party.
They can't harbor Malice when striking a deal, lest the other party discovers it.
They will suffer indiscriminate damage if they are embroiled in a battlefield.
They cannot make said creatures engaged in combat stand down.
•Shadow Contract: They can create and sign Contracts with the Shadows of both parties as witnesses, directly connecting them to each other's Souls.
If any of the party members were to violate the Contract, the Shadows will harm their spirits. The spiritual damage the violator faces is akin to that of a powerful Curse.
They can use their control over symbolic Shadows to secretly modify key terms the moment it is signed, allowing them to twist the Contract in their favor.
•Pacifying Aura: A Shadow Merchant possesses an aura that automatically reduces any nearby creatures' Malice to an extent.
The higher the target's level, the weaker Pacifying Aura's effect will be.
•Shadow Utilization: They possess the ability to utilize Shadows of both a real and symbolic nature.
•Fake Shadow Creation: They can create fake Shadows to deceive their enemies.
•Shadow Transformation: They can transform themselves into a Shadow.
This allows them to move great distances and avoid physical damage.
•Shadow Concealment: They can Conceal themselves in Shadows.
Strengthened Abilities[1]
• Brokering: Their ability to create connections and facilitate exchange of valuable items have increased.
Jebus Lata was able to obtain bullets that can absorb Life, cause a target's Implosion, and Impregnate a human through his transactions and connections.
A Shadow Merchant can attempt to find items at the level of a Demigod, but it will take a long time, and the success rate would not be very high.
∞Sequence 7: Prosecutor∞
New Abilities
• Knowledge (Words of Order): They will gain an initial knowledge on the Words of Order, a supernatural language that is used to enable their Accusations.
• Crime Discernment: A Prosecutor will be able to discern the target's crimes, but they are not able to witness the process of the target doing the crime.[1]
• Accusation: Through the Words of Order, a Prosecutor can first declare individuals as guilty and then Accuse them of various charges.[1]
For ongoing crimes, they can directly Accuse the target, not needing to specify the charges, which forms a restriction on the target, making it hard for them to move and use any abilities.
The Accused target will receive the corresponding punishment from some entity or the world itself.
The exact punishment depends on the severity of the target's crime with the most terrifying punishments leading the Accused target to immediate die and lose control on the spot.
The damage and effects of different crimes are completely different. They cannot predict it beforehand and can only make a guess based off of their previous "cases".[2]
Lumian experienced a massive amount of Corruption from the Circle of Inevitability upon being Accused of blasphemy, however, he was saved by Mr. Fool's Seal.[2]
It is not clear to even the Prosecutor using Accusation on how crimes are determined.[1]
Jebus Lata speculated that an act recognized as a crime by most humans would be considered. It includes blasphemy, murder, rape, fraud, theft, and so on while Lumian Lee speculated the charges stem from something more fundamental.
∞Sequence 6: Ambitionist∞
New Abilities
• Ambitious Drive: The inexhaustible Ambition of an Ambitionist brings about a powerful physique, a keen perception, and an outstanding Spirituality.[1]
• Mental Resistance: Their burning Ambitions make them unwilling to rest even for a moment, allowing them to resist being forced into Dreams, comas, or other debilitating states.
The Sequence 5 Under the Table, Jebus Lata, woke up and quickly used Shadow Utilization before he hit the ground right after taking a direct hit from Lumian Lee's Spell of Harrumph.[2]
• Combat Proficiency: The Ambitious Drive of an Ambitionist will drive them to constantly pursue improvements in their combat abilities.
∞Sequence 5: Under the Table∞
New Abilities
• Under-the-Table: The sole Beyonder power they gain upon advancement. There are 2 ways to use it:[3]
They are able to establish an unseen and tranquil Under-the-Table atmosphere in combat and emergency scenarios. Through this, an Under-the-Table can forcefully cause their enemies to comply with their demands by offering them valuable items in exchange.[3]
There are around 3 things they need to keep in mind for a successful Under-the-Table:
A target's inclination and experience in the Gray Domain determine the success rate, with those having more experience and inclination being more likely to be affected.[3]
Even without the suppression of Godhood from a Demigod, it would be almost impossible for an Unshadowed to fall victim to an Under-the-Table transaction.
They must behave normally. If not, the enemy(s) who agreed to the transaction may recognize that something is off and immediately snap out of its effects.
Being reminded of their abnormal actions and state during an Under-the-Table by a third party can help an affected target snap out of its effects.[2]
The Sequence 5 Under the Table cannot injure the effected target(s) or impact their state in any other way during and throughout the transaction.
The second application allows an Under the Table to utilize a barely Sealed space in order to form a true Under-the-Table scenario. This application of this Beyonder ability requires time and is not suitable during combat and emergency scenarios.[3]
In this Under the Table state, where they don't know the counterparty or how their needs will be fulfilled through the transaction, they can achieve the desired result by stating their request and offering the item the other party desires. How this is accomplished isn't relevant.[3]
The other party(s) may possess malicious intentions, which may cause hidden negative effects to occur to the Under the Table.
The other party(s) involved in the transaction may be able to circumvent the rules of the Under-the-Table transaction.
The difficulty of the task itself as well as the items given are what limits the effectiveness of this type of transaction.
There is a possibility of running into swindlers during an Under the Table deal.[4]
When such a scenario occurs, they will be in one side of the table, and the mysterious creature or entity concealed in the Shadows and Darkness will be on the other side.[3]
They won't know the party(s) identity beforehand or sense who the other party is. The identity of the other party(s) could be some entity they have previously dealt with or a completely new entity from the unknown.
Such Under-the-Table transactions are not limited to 2-way exchanges. These transactions can be a three-way deal, a four-way deal, or even more.[3]
Strengthened Abilities
• Gray Perception: They can use this to assess their target's experience and inclination in the Gray Domain, allowing them to judge if an Under-the-Table transaction would be successful.[3]
∞Sequence 4: Overseer∞
New Abilities[5]
• Overseeing: An Overseer can monitor everything within a range of 200-2000 meters, including things such as secrets, 'hidden spaces', subordinates and exert influence on that area.
As Overseeing is a sacred duty, this Beyonder power grants them Protection. This makes them immune to any attacks from beings without Godhood, reflecting them as punishment.[6]
Since nuclear bombs don't possess any Godhood, they can survive a nuclear explosion.[7]
Against beings with Godhood, they can invoke Protection, creating invisible barriers that block 2-3 strikes, each time inflicting a certain degree of punishment to the attacker.
They can Oversee Contractual parties and automatically enforce punishment.[5]
They can direct influence on anything they Oversee via the Words of Order.
By declaring in the Words of Order, "An Overseer sees all secrets!", Perle was able to reveal and destroy the Bottle of Fiction that Lumian Lee and Anthony Reid were residing in.[6]
When Jebus was going to say the location of the School of Truth's headquarters and the Overseer he reports to, he suddenly exploded from the inside out, his shattered flesh merging with the pale-white fog, transforming into a peculiar blood mist before seeping into the soil.[8]
Strengthened Abilities[5]
• Gray Perception: They can detect traces of the Gray Domain that enter the area they are Overseeing.
• Under-the-Table: The conditions that limit the second application of this power has been loosened.
They no longer need a long amount of time to create a true Under-the-Table scenario, being capable of achieving the effect by placing an item inside a "Sealed" space (such as a bag).
By paying a steep price and offering up a considerable number of precious items, Perle was able to affect two demigods and Lumian's team to give up far too readily and hastily with Moran Avigny's case.[9]
Some characteristics of the individual may make it difficult to do Under-the-Table transactions against them.
Although Mr. K had done worse things than Lumian Lee, he only had a small Gray spot. This suggested that finishing an Under the Table transaction with Mr. K would be hard, as if it needed certain conditions. It seemed to come from extreme devotion. All Under the Table transactions can only keep going with the permission of the one he has faith in.[10]
• Accusation: This Beyonder power has undergone a qualitative enhancement in power.
They can Oversee unpunished crimes and have those crime victims manifest to attack the target.[5]
However, if the crime is too severe for a punisher to manifest directly, the punisher will simply disintegrate against the target.[11]
The effects and duration of their Accusations will persist until the target is well and truly dead.[6]
Lumian's punishment from Perle was in the form of a Lightning bolt continued to persist and manifest in different forms as it continued to chase after him.[6]
Accusations can now be used to redirect or even nullify the opponent's attacks and abilities.
Perle caused Lumian's Implosion Bullet and Flame Spears to redirect towards himself.
Jenna's Invisibility was completely nullified as a blaze of Sunlight exposed her body.
Accusations can use other individuals and aspects of the target as an effect.[5]
Upon being Accused by Perle, the Accusation's effect caused Madame Judgement's Confinement to fully encase Franca and Jenna, preventing them from leaving.
Through an Accusation, Perle was able to utilize Madame Judgement's Exile in order to send the Sealed Artifact Pride Armor out of the Sealed Mirror World.
• Shadow Utilization: They gain an enhancement to their use of Shadows.[5]
• Brokering: They can obtain rarer items through their connections.
Perle was able to create a counterfeit exit to the Mirror World that was able to fool the senses of Lumian Lee through her connections.
Perle was able to obtain a Mystical Item that allowed her to create an exact Substitute of her that can use her Beyonder powers.[12]
∞↑Mythical Creature Form↑∞
As Demigods at Sequence 4 who have obtained partial Godhood, they are able to manifest their incomplete Mythical Creature Form if they disregard any of the consequences.
∞Sequence 3: Vortex Weaver∞
New Abilities
• Vortex Weaving: A Vortex Weaver is the core of all transactions, capable of forming complex networks. They have essentially become a true "platform".[5]
The Vortex that is created involves more complex transactions with multiple different traders.
Transactions can occur between any of the groups involved. There can be a three-way, four-way, or even more parties involved. Connecting the corresponding lines creates a Web or a Vortex, involving many people.
All participants of the Vortex contribute power to maintain the Ritual until their part of the transaction is complete. Thus, once the Vortex was formed, destroying it would become increasingly difficult.
Even the grievous wounding of the Vortex Weaver would not stop the Vortex. Their complete death is needed to stop the Vortex - a difficult task even for Angels.[13]
During the Vortex, they would transform into white mist and be a part of the Vortex.[14]
This allows them to disappear and reappear within it at will, making them very hard to hit.[15]
When grievously wounded, they can still barely survive by utilizing the white mist.[16]
When announcing the transactions, they announce it using the Words of Order.[17]
They are able to initiate trades across spatial distances without prerequisites.
From the Primitive Island in Fog Sea,[14] Perle formed a Vortex that encompassed Port Santa, Trier, areas beyond the Astral Barrier, as well as the locations of Higdon, Héloise,[17] Voisin Sanson, Harrison, Mr. Sage,[15] Madam Hart,[18] and the Chained God.[19]
