Chapter 4576 - Chapter 4576: Jin Supreme's Bugs

Chapter 4576: Jin Supreme's Bugs

Finding a dangerous place to die gloriously words like tigers and wolves. It was one thing for Lin Moyu to say it, but even the Primal Chaos Stone was stating it as self evident, even sounding eager to urge him on.

It made sense: after all, this entity had roamed the forbidden life zones for countless years, had seen everything, but never seen anyone whose body and soul both reached the world's limit.

Yet on Lin Moyu, not only were both at the limit, but there was even potential to surpass it.

Such an interesting thing how could the Primal Chaos Stone not be curious?

He was clearly very eager to see what would happen if someone exceeded all limits and attempted to enter the forbidden zone could the rules be broken?

Thinking this, the Primal Chaos Stone wasn't sleepy anymore, wishing Lin Moyu would dash into the deepest wilderness immediately.

Lin Moyu guessed what the stone was thinking, but ignored him.

He also wanted, in his own way, to die gloriously. But it had to be conditional, in an orderly fashion much like dying in the "womb of the world" in the Western Pure Land: within a controlled, manageable range.

Achieving that had always been difficult.

Antares once helped, but now, in the Primal Chaos Wilderness, the only possible help would be those three beings.

Even a Supreme like 707 couldn't easily kill him in a way he wanted, couldn't satisfy his requirements.

Those three? No way, they were truly courting death themselves.

The last space time tunnel in the world's boundary led to a remnant world that was overtly dangerous possibly useful, but the cause seeking ring would fail there, making things less manageable, so it wasn't the first choice.

That left only the deepest part of the Primal Wilderness maybe there, the right kind of environment could be found.

There was still some way left to that place. Xiaopeng was flying at peak speed, but even Supremes used up time crossing the vast Primal Wilderness.

The further from Chaos, the more influence Supremes lost; speed dropped as a result. Within Chaos, they could fold space, crossing regions in no time.

As Chaos grew distant, Dao's power was thinner.

Lin Moyu noticed his own Undying Dao didn't change much neither stronger nor weaker; it just stayed the same.

In fact, except for entering that remnant world, the Undying Dao had never really been affected.

He was certain he'd fully fused it into himself, making it independent from the Primal Chaos Wilderness; there was no other explanation.

On the way, Xiaoshu constantly sensed surrounding spatial changes, adjusting their direction accordingly.

The deepest wilderness was also the world's beginning; it was inside the Primal Wilderness, yet without any absolute direction.

Xiaoshu hadn't actually entered that far but had probed before and knew roughly where it was, guiding Xiaopeng.

Along the journey, Lin Moyu saw crowds of awakened wilderness beings, all marching or fighting every last one had awoken.

The number of Primal Wilderness beings was impossible to count; the powerful usually slumbered, but now all were awake.

According to the Primal Chaos Stone, the tribulation hadn't erupted yet it was still brewing.

During this, most ancient beings would awaken. In Xiaoshu's time, nearly all the strong had perished, but a few must have escaped and hidden in the wilderness.

They would wake for the new tribulation, seeking a shot at being Invincible.

Even if they cared little before, the influence of the tribulation would change their Dao hearts and spur them onward.

The tribulation was one for all of Primal Chaos nobody could entirely avoid it.

Suddenly Xiaoshu said: "Master, I've seen bugs."

He projected the scene: the bugs were of the kind found in the Southern Pole tiny as dust, their presence even weaker than mortals.

Yet they could survive in the wilderness; the unique, invasive force there didn't affect them.

"Xiaopeng, get closer."

At Lin Moyu's command, Xiaopeng approached.

Wrapped in the Hidden Spirit Pearl's power, Lin Moyu observed the minuscule bugs up close.

The bugs were scattered not in swarms over a wide area.

As wilderness beasts trampled past, many bugs died.

But immediately, neighboring bugs would fly over and consume the dead, then rapidly split to refill their numbers never really diminishing.

Clearly, unless wiped out completely, so long as one lived, their population soon rebounded.

"These bugs come from the Bug Tablet. Jin Supreme didn't give them combat power but endowed them with a special trait to survive safely in the dangerous wilderness."

"He sent them here to search…"

At this, Lin Moyu understood Jin Supreme's goal he too was seeking opportunities, perhaps also the deepest wilderness.

Even among the ancient beings, few knew the exact location of that place; most only heard rumors. Jin Supreme was likely one of them: dissatisfied, he could never settle at the Supreme level, always searching for a way to break through.

The bugs were his eyes, extending his reach throughout the wilderness.

With this realization, Lin Moyu saw how Jin Supreme kept uncovering secrets.

He'd mentioned before how Zixing, the Dao companion of Baiyang Supreme, was doing something dangerous a detail Lin Moyu once found curious.

But now it was clear: Jin Supreme scattered all sorts of bugs across the realms.

Those bugs spied everywhere, allowing him knowledge of countless secrets a truly frightening ability, one he didn't even fear being discovered.

Within the Southern Pole, on his own turf, other Supremes wouldn't mess with him.

He'd even called Calamity Supreme "that little brat," showing total lack of fear.

"If I could control these bugs, could I then learn things, maybe even find Zixing Supreme and bring Yiyi and the others back?"

Lin Moyu didn't care what Zixing Supreme was up to if he could find her, if there was any chance, he'd rescue Ning Yiyi and the others.

No matter what dangers might come, the first priority was their safety.

With a wave of his hand, vast power swept across; countless bugs died in an instant.

The next second, Undying Flame turned the void into a sea of fire…
