Chapter 4577: This World Is Too Boring
The tiny bugs quickly became revivers. They couldn't speak, but that didn't matter they had souls, which was enough.
Lin Moyu spread his soul force and quickly invaded their spirits.
In an instant, he saw a huge network spanning the Primal Chaos Wilderness.
Countless points of light flickered in the soul dimension each was a bug.
One spot had especially dense lights: the South Pole.
Jin Supreme had used his own means to draw a map of the Primal Chaos Wilderness.
Naturally, this map wasn't complete just a rough outline.
Before Lin Moyu could study it, all points abruptly vanished. Then Lin Moyu saw Jin Supreme himself.
Jin Supreme's expression was blank; it was impossible to discern his feelings. "Friend Lin, quite a trick."
Lin Moyu was utterly unashamed. "Just happened by, I was curious."
This sort of reply fooled no one; Jin Supreme didn't believe it, and Lin Moyu knew he didn't, but trusted Jin Supreme wouldn't call him out.
Indeed, Jin Supreme didn't push further. "Are you looking for someone, Friend Lin?"
Lin Moyu didn't hide it: "I'm looking for Zixing Supreme."
Jin Supreme's eyes narrowed, hinting at danger. "Why are you searching for her?"
Lin Moyu replied, "Private matters, inconvenient to say. Could you point me toward her? I'll remember your favor."
Jin Supreme chuckled. "No need. I owe you too much to repay all at once. You're in the Wilderness now; Zixing Supreme is as well, though far from you."
Countless dots reappeared, forming another map this time only showing locations within the Wilderness.
Two spots were especially bright, one marking Lin Moyu, the other Zixing Supreme far apart.
Lin Moyu used the positions, plus the formation left by Calamity Supreme, to determine Zixing Supreme's actual location.
Jin Supreme continued, "The Wilderness is enormous. I've explored it for years without mapping it all; some places are impassable even for me.
If you go to her, be careful. She's not easy to talk to."
Lin Moyu nodded. "Understood. Thanks."
Jin Supreme said, "I wish you luck."
All the lights disappeared, and Lin Moyu was ejected from the bug network.
He reflected on what he'd seen. "Jin Supreme hasn't reached the true depths of the Wilderness. His bugs probably can't go that far.
Zixing Supreme isn't in the deepest part, but is still far away. It'll take ages to get there and now is not the time."
Lin Moyu wanted to send Ning Yiyi and companions into his own world, but with his current strength it wouldn't be easy to seize them from Zixing Supreme.
And he didn't know what tricks Zixing Supreme might have for controlling them.
Based on what he knew, a Supreme could use any means to reach her goals.
Some valued loyalty, but faced with interests, loyalty became secondary.
Now was not the time to seek Zixing Supreme; he needed to get stronger first.
"According to the plan, head for the deepest Wilderness.
At the very least, I must reach the Supreme level in body and soul before I can act."
Xiaopeng set off for the depths again.
…
In the South Pole, Jin Supreme squinted at the Bug Tablet. "Another mess is brewing. Wonder if I'll get an opening this time.
He's probably headed for the true depths. Calamity brat went before and found something maybe I should go myself.
Having survived so long, it's time to take a real risk, otherwise, what's the point?
This world is so boring if there's no fun to be found, I'd rather die!"
His eyes exuded madness, like he might destroy all creation.
…
Xiaopeng flew for decades, covering staggering distance finally entering the true Wilderness's depths, far from the Chaos itself.
The Dao force of Chaos was now faint.
In this place, even Chaos level powers lost much of their fighting ability barely half remained.
Top perfectionists could muster only about 60% or 70% here.
Supremes were somewhat less affected, but still much weaker than inside Chaos.
The Wilderness's depths were just a term; they weren't at the absolute end yet. Entering the deepest zone would likely decrease even Supreme battle power by half.
So Supremes rarely ventured inside they feared it greatly.
Lin Moyu paused for a day here, letting Xiaopeng, Xiaoshu, and Chaos Child get used to it. Their powers suffered too, even Xiaopeng's speed was much reduced.
The Hidden Spirit Pearl weakened the concealment still worked, but not as well.
This was almost a blind spot for Dao; trying to scan from Chaos would be extremely difficult.
Maybe only Calamity Supreme, being in the Wilderness, could investigate here but he didn't probe as much as Dao, perhaps fearing Dao's notice.
After a day of acclimating, Xiaopeng pressed forward the true Wilderness's depths beckoned.
After several more years, Xiaopeng slowed further; as the Dao force died completely, he became little faster than an ordinary Chaos great.
The Hidden Spirit Pearl's effect all but vanished.
Suddenly, Lin Moyu beheld a vast, pitch black pit
It was like a tear in the world, slowly turning in the void.
It absorbed all light, Dao, and soul power; nothing inside could be seen.
At first sight, Lin Moyu's soul felt no alarm, but instinctively he sensed deadly danger.
"This is the deepest Wilderness the world's true beginning, the source of everything."
He muttered quietly, remembering what dangers might lie ahead.
According to the Primal Chaos Stone, within lay leftover primordial qi and some original treasures from across the world's boundary; those treasures merged with primordial qi, producing all sorts of bizarre things.
Not bound by Chaos rules, these made the deepest Wilderness wild and unpredictable.
And there might be more, too only by going in could one find out.
Xiaoshu whispered, "Master, I feel that my time space power won't work inside."
Chaos Child added, "I only ever heard how dangerous it was. Didn't expect I'd actually come."
Lin Moyu chuckled, "Don't worry. Calamity Supreme survived here and found a chance we might do the same."
Xiaoshu wondered, "I'm curious what chance he got. Why did he dare to break through?"
Lin Moyu shook his head. "Who knows? Maybe the answer is inside let's go."
He put Xiaopeng away into the Calamity Boat; Xiaopeng wasn't needed here he planned to use the boat for the advance. If danger came, at least the boat could help resist it…
