Chapter 4583: The Playground of the Flame of World Destruction
The Primal Chaos Stone, with a tone of seriousness and a hint of pride, declared, "I've observed countless worlds enough to defy calculation and divided them into three levels.
Dead worlds aren't even worth discussing; let's talk only about living worlds.
Any world that survives two rounds of great tribulation ranks at the lowest level.
Worlds that withstand three to four rounds are mid level, and those that survive five to six rounds are high level."
"Similarly, the supreme beings born in low level worlds also rank low among their own kind.
You're probably wondering how to judge how many rounds a world can endure I can tell you from all my experience, I can see it at a glance.
How many tribulations a world can endure is innate, determined from the very start."
Each round of tribulation is a massive disaster for a world.
If a world is weak and can only bear two, and fails to produce a supreme '863' during that time, it will inevitably perish, quickly collapsing into world remnants.
The first tribulation is a life or death ordeal, delineating whether a world becomes living or dead every world experiences it, no exceptions.
So, weak worlds have only one round to give birth to a supreme being.
The duration of tribulations isn't fixed sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes long, sometimes short.
According to the Primal Chaos Stone, it's roughly 100 billion to 500 billion years.
So the shortest lived worlds last a little over 100 billion years.
However, the rules restricting weaker worlds are also weaker, making it easier for them to produce supreme beings.
Conversely, powerful worlds have stricter rules, making it a bit harder to become a supreme.
Lin Moyu had expected the Stone to reveal something earthshaking, but it was close to what he already thought.
The world where Lin Moyu resides Chaotic Gu Huang can easily survive three rounds; the fourth is uncertain, so it's a mid level world.
The third tribulation has already started; if a supreme doesn't appear, the world's chance will soon be gone.
Lin Moyu asked, "I understand what you said, but you once mentioned a world that survived nine tribulations what's that?"
The Primal Chaos Stone replied, "That world is unique, one of a kind.
There are worlds that withstand seven or eight rounds, but it doesn't matter; none of them have ever produced a supreme.
If a world is too strong, its rules become so strict that no one can break through, and no supreme can ever be born. Such worlds are doomed."
The Stone was adamant; in all its observations, every world surviving beyond a certain threshold never produced a supreme.
These worlds ultimately die after all tribulations and become world remnants.
Lin Moyu lamented, "Such a pity. In the end, these worlds become remnants, nothing more than a playground for supremely strong explorers."
"Wishful thinking!" scoffed the Primal Chaos Stone. "Even remnants at that level are a death sentence for regular supremes who go there.
Especially those that endured several rounds though now just remnants, nobody can get in. Anyone who tries, dies.
I remember there was a supreme from a high level world, arrogant as could be entered that world and died almost instantly."
Lin Moyu clicked his tongue, "So it's true a starving camel is still bigger than a horse."
"Of course!" huffed the Stone. "A world that powerful is inconceivable."
Lin Moyu asked, "So is there anyone at all who can enter?"
The Stone pointed at itself: "I can, but I don't want to.
Plus, that being the master saw in the forbidden zone should also be able to get in.
If someday the master enters the forbidden zone, maybe then you can too."
With all worlds now extinct, nobody knows how many remnants lie within the forbidden zone.
All the passages there have been destroyed, but if the master manages to enter, those remnants could become a personal garden.
To enter alive requires unimaginable strength.
By then, one would be far beyond supreme, and shattered worlds probably wouldn't have much to offer.
Lin Moyu switched topics: "That's all a bit far off let's examine this lightning wall."
He bathed in lightning; though it didn't harm him, it trapped the Ferry of Tribulations.
The Primal Chaos Stone said, "This is a Thunder Source Stone, a world source mineral that, after formation, developed some awareness though not much.
Born in a wall of the world, it fell here and was fused with primordial qi, lacking chaos rules, so it never grew fully sentient.
Ordinarily, it stays here unmoving, drifting with the currents, waking only to attack life passing nearby.
Its attack isn't weak; any chaos level creature entering here dies without question.
The deepest part of Gu Huang is a forbidden zone for chaos creatures for good reason."
Lin Moyu didn't summon a soul avatar; having faced the bubble creature, he was less wary of such beings now.
In fact, they might be opportunities he sensed the Flame of World Destruction could evolve further here.
He flew out of the Ferry facing the lightning directly and though countless thunderbolts tried to destroy him, his body shrugged off the pain.
Before him was a boundless wall of lightning, stretching into the void.
Unfazed, Lin Moyu pressed a hand to the wall.
The Flame of World Destruction appeared, ignoring the lightning, spreading instantly to cover the wall.
The flame seemed to have eyes instantly it found the Thunder Source Stone's core and its hidden awareness.
Once awareness forms, a soul exists no matter how intelligent, if there's a soul, the flame has a target.
Penetrating to the core, it began burning the soul; lightning attacks on Lin Moyu became chaotic.
He faintly heard screaming, muffled by thunder, but saw from the lightning's change that the flame was at work.
Gradually, the lightning weakened until it finally vanished.
In less than an hour, something lethal to all chaos level beings was burned away by the Flame of World Destruction.
No matter the soul's weakness, this proved the fire's power.
Lin Moyu saw the Thunder Source Stone, enveloped in fire, while a remnant strand of primordial qi was devoured without mercy.
All that was left was a chunk of source mineral.
