Chapter 4584 - Chapter 4584: The Ultimate in Illusion

Chapter 4584: The Ultimate in Illusion

At the deepest part of Gu Huang, at the origin of the world, this was truly the paradise of the Flame of World Destruction.

After devouring the remaining primordial qi from the Thunder Source Stone, the flame grew even stronger, returning to Lin Moyu's hand before vanishing without a trace.

Lin Moyu sensed happiness from the flame an emotion that startled him for a moment. It seemed the Flame of World Destruction possessed basic sentience for some time but hadn't shown it much until now.

This time, perhaps due to being overly joyful, it actually displayed some simple feelings.

Lin Moyu understood the flame's meaning it was saying it still wanted to eat; it wasn't full yet.

This made Lin Moyu a bit amused and speechless, since he once focused so much on restoring the intelligence of the Ferry and the Ring of Causality.

Now he realized that giving the Flame of World Destruction greater sentience might prove his greatest advantage.

He tossed the Thunder Source Stone into storage. Such world source material, if used to nurture a domain, would make his domain tremendously powerful.

Unfortunately, this Thunder Source Stone already carried the imprint of Chaotic Gu Huang, and so couldn't generate a living world for him.

If he wanted a living world, he'd eventually have to target the wall of the world itself.

Within that wall, all kinds of world source treasures with different shapes and attributes exerted an enormous pull.

The lightning faded and the void returned to calm as the Ferry once again moved onward.

The Primal Chaos Stone chuckled, "Thunder Source Stone isn't prized among world source treasures, and creatures it nurtures aren't all that strong, either.

If you go deeper, you may encounter some unpleasant things, so be careful."

Lin Moyu retorted, "That's not what you said before. I came here to seek death, and you even urged me to hurry. So why warn me now?"

He shifted his tone and asked calmly, "Did you sense something?"

The Primal Chaos Stone didn't conceal it: "Indeed, I've noticed something. An odd object entered the world's origin and evolved some extremely bizarre things.

Master, you did come seeking death but if things go wrong, you might not die, you might just be trapped forever."

Lin Moyu wasn't worried, "With you here, I don't have to worry about that."

The Stone responded, "If you always think that way, it won't end well."

Lin Moyu shook his head, "Of course I won't, but you are my reassurance."

This comment seemed to please the Stone, who even smiled a rare smile: "Those are nice words; I like hearing the master say them."

Lin Moyu shook his head, "Repeating it isn't interesting. Now, what's that strange thing you sensed?"

Indeed, the Calamity Scepter was his main assurance, but so was the Flame of World Destruction especially here, where it might even outdo the Scepter.

Currently, the flame still wasn't as strong as the Scepter, but it had unlimited potential. If he ever made it into the Life Forbidden Zone, all those broken world remnants would be its perfect nourishment. Just how strong the flame might grow, no one could say.

The Primal Chaos Stone explained: "Worlds are split into yin yang, reality/unreality. Yin and illusion are paired; yang and reality resonate.

World source treasures are the same. Suppose there was a world source treasure of pure illusion, extremely yin, appearing here and absorbing primordial qi, but never fully maturing what would it become?"

What would that be?

It would be the peak of unreality, the pinnacle of yin…

Lin Moyu pondered a moment, feeling a chill. If that were true, something truly incredible and frightening would result.

Once any trait reaches its peak, it's bound to become bizarre. Some kinds of bizarre are awe inspiring, others terrifying.

Suddenly, he felt a bad premonition. Warnings surged from his soul a great danger was coming.

A howling wind seemed to rise; the Ferry was instantly ripped apart, unable to resist.

His vision filled with countless illusions. To his shock, Lin Moyu recognized all as demons from the small worlds beings he'd already destroyed.

How could they still emerge here?

A dragon's roar came; the dragon race emerged, with Lilian and the Dragon Emperor leading the demon dragons' armies charging at him. Cold winds stirred behind; looking back, Lin Moyu saw Antares, spewing dragon breath, eyes full of killing intent.

"Is this an illusion?"

Lin Moyu closed his eyes, sent out his soul's strength as vast palms sweeping everything away, driving all phantoms to dispersal.

Opening his eyes, everything was clear again.

In the faint light, he found the Ferry had stopped before an ancient castle.

He recognized it he'd once entered this castle when a mysterious garden was revealed in the great world.

Back then, it was an enigma beyond explanation. After much study, he assumed it was a part of history buried within the great world.

With growing knowledge later, he guessed the mysterious garden may have resulted from worlds colliding.

At one time, the great world devoured many others in the sea of boundaries a piece of history he'd never fully traced since entering the source continent.

He never thought it would appear again.

The figures from those worlds, including Antares, were illusions; but this castle was real.

The Primal Chaos Stone said: "The peak of illusion is reality; that castle is the ultimate in illusion, the start of what's real.

It exists in the deepest part of your memory, a mystery you've never solved clearly, you went through much there. Want to try again? Maybe you can solve the riddle now."

Lin Moyu shook his head, "No interest. I am who I am; my journey has nothing to do with anyone else's."

As he spoke, he exited the Ferry and punched the castle.

He unleashed over 90% of his strength his fist formed a giant phantom in the void and enveloped the castle.

The punch tore down most of the castle.

Alarms blared, formations appeared everywhere, and a black shadow streaked out in armor, sword pointed at Lin Moyu, shouting something.

Soldiers followed, forming up in the air.

A skeleton throne ascended, flames blazing atop it, and a person sat, looking down at Lin Moyu.

"Lin Moyu, you would attack me?"

A heavy voice rocked Lin Moyu's spirit it was that mysterious master!

Ultimate illusion must become reality; shocking that even such a phantom depicted the mysterious master.

Lin Moyu stopped short and thought: "If you really are what you claim, then this illusion must now break."
