Xu Kai sent Liu Qing to buy flowers and sent them to Cheng Xiao in the office, when Liu Qing asked if it was fine, Xu Kai replied that he had gotten permission to now pursue her in the company. Liu Qing happy and he happily went out to buy the flowers, when he bought the flowers, he went to Cheng Xiao's department and handed her the flowers as people gasped.
Cheng Xiao took the flowers and thanked him, she knew where the flowers came from, but people thought that Secretary Liu was the one pursuing Cheng Xiao, while others thought of Xu Kai as no secretary would dare go out to buy flowers during work hours. Liu Qing and Chen Si had adapted to the way Xu Kai worked and finally became his trusted assistants.
Xu Kai would always take either one of them when he went or a business trip and the other that stayed behind would be in charge until he comes back. Them being all good was thanks to Cheng Xiao, she had shown them how he liked the documents made and if there was a mistake he fired on the spot, so they worked themselves so that they do not make any mistake.
"Gift from hubby?" Su Li asked with a teasing smile.
"Ahah!" Cheng Xiao said with a nod.
"Lucky!" Su Li said.
"You told your husband not to send you flowers." Cheng Xiao said.
"Do you know the number of flowers he would buy?" Su Li asked.
"When he first proposed he filled his house with flowers, the was a carpet made from flowers all because I said I loved flowers." Su Li said as if she was living through a nightmare.
"Su Li, you should let him do that." Cheng Xiao.
"No, I like the peace that I have right now, I would not want to ruin it." Su Li said shrugging off the suggestion.
Soon it was lunchtime and the cafeteria was full of hungry employees but the news of Cheng Xaio receiving flowers from Liu Qing had escalated. Even voting poles had started, everyone was betting where the flowers was from Liu Qing or the CEO sent him to deliver them.
As the three ladies took their seat at an empty table, it was not long before Xu Kai and his secretaries came into the cafeteria making everyone stop in their tracks. Since when did the CEO enter the cafeteria was the question on everyone's mind. They all watched as he went and dished and went to sit where the ladies were sitting.
Xu Kai approached their table and pulled a chair in front of Cheng Xiao and sat down, people who had voted Xu Kai as the one who sent the flowers made a fist in happiness as that would mean that they won the bet. They watched as the two conversed and time to time Xu Kai would reach and take something from Cheng Xiao's plate, and at times he would take something from his plate and put it into her plate.
