Hearing that nightmare-like voice, Larilo was completely stunned.
She froze for a moment, then turned around slowly with an incredulous look on her face, looking in the direction the voice came from.
And then she saw Qiu Tu lying on his back on a wide wooden raft, eating glistening, jade-like grapes, looking at her with a half-smile.
And to make it even more outrageous, there was an enormous wooden parasol propped up on that raft, casting large patches of shade to shield him from the vicious sun.
Add to that Qiu Tu's casual T-shirt and shorts—anyone who knew the situation would realize he was here to catch Larilo. Anyone who didn't would totally think he'd come to the "Dock Sea Area" for a beach vacation!
Now contrast that with Larilo, who had been scrambling over mountains and diving into the sea, frantically searching for those leyline nodes before he could catch her, so desperate she didn't even have time to dry her soaked clothes…
Larilo felt sorry for herself.
