Third person POV
Later on, Roxas and his group, now known as the Kanagawa Group, encountered 3 giant spiders in front of them. Minato goes first while Anko gave Roxas some strength to beat one of them.
"Careful, guys," Minato said to them, before lunging at one of them with his halberd.
The gamer boy then slashed the first spider's neck, causing that spider to growl loudly and blood to gush out.
Roaxas felt being strengthened by Anko and lunged at the second spider, slicing its leg with his Writer's Bolo.
Using his prior knowledge of fighting monsters in anime, he managed to slay it in less than 6 attacks.
Shuto and Koyuki wielded their weapons and went last, slaying the third spider.
In the end, they managed to defeat them, giving them some experience points that leveled them up to the next level. Shuto got to Level 2. The same goes for Koyuki and Minato. Roxas, meanwhile, got from Level 21 to Level 22. They were happy and continued exploring.
A little later, after slaying a few more monsters and clearing 2 more tunnels, all of them stopped to take a lunch break. Shuto and Koyuki bought vending machine-bought snacks and drinks for them. As his friends eat, Minato revealed to Shuto and Koyuki about Roxas' spirit guardian, shocking them.
"Wait, what?" Shuto was shocked.
"No way…" Koyuki gasped.
Roxas confirmed it with his eyewitness testimony, the email, the flash of light after that, and being stabbed by an Elite Player.
Shuto and Koyuki couldn't believe that, and Anko appeared as proof.
"Hi there!" Anko said to them happily.
Their two friends were stunned to see him living and residing within Roxas.
"You're that Anko Tachibana?" Koyuki asked Anko.
Anko then nodded and introduced himself to them, before explaining to them how and why this happened.
Now, Shuto and Koyuki understood that and accepted it, sympathizing with both Roxas and Anko.
Roxas and Anko were happy, and both became close friends.
Minato, meanwhile, was busy checking his phone for any messages of request from dead players in the game but was frustrated because the place is a bad place for getting signal bars for an internet connection.
But then, Anko finally said to Roxas with a mischievous grin, "You know, it's time to show that memory, Roxas-kun."
Roxas's face became as pale as a white sampaguita. "No, Anko-kun, don't you dare-!"
"Too late!"
Anko showed that embarrassing SM Iloilo escalator memory of Roxas when he was 11 as an HUD screen for everyone to see.
Roxas's face became red like a kamatis and buried his face with his hands. Shuto chuckled like a poet, while Minato turned around when he saw the light coming from the HUD and doubled over very hard while storing his phone in his inventory. Koyuki, meanwhile, covered her face with her sketchbook.
"You're afraid of that thing?!" Minato wheezed so hard.
"Stop playing that memory like a weedjio (adopted from Uncle Roger on YouTube)!" Roxas said to Anko in sheer embarrassment.
Anko did so and closed the HUD.
Shortly after that, Roxas finished his meal and stood up, going to scour the nearby areas in the tunnel. He did so and saw that those areas were clear, meaning that any monster was not yet coming towards them. Meanwhile, after Roxas sighed in relief, someone was coming to him. It was Evil Eugeo, who then saw Roxas wiping his sweat while saying to himself in Tagalog.
That line was, "Ay, grabe..."
Roxas used that as a tactic just in case any Elite Player would come to him and try to intimidate him.
And...he was right.
Everything around him became icy cold.
