「Half an hour later.」
Xiao Linye rushed to the hotel where Gui Xingli was.
Upon seeing him, Gui Xingli's expression was incredibly grim.
Xiao Linye stepped forward and asked, "Have you checked the surveillance?"
"We've checked. There are no clues. The bodyguard has been sent to the hospital; he saw nothing," Gui Xingli said, somewhat breathlessly.
Xiao Linye frowned.
Gui Xingli looked up at him. "Xiao Linye, if anything really happens to her, I won't forgive you, and I won't let the Xiao Family off either."
Word by word, Gui Xingli spoke through gritted teeth, as if she wished she could tear him apart right then and there.
Xiao Linye's lips were pressed tightly together, his mind in turmoil.
His phone buzzed. He pulled it out and saw the call was from the Xiao Family's landline.
He didn't answer; he just hung up!
