"So..." His deep voice rumbled beside her ear. "Do you like my surprise?"
Bella let out a soft, breathless laugh. She placed her hands over his, her fingers intertwining with his.
"Like it?" She turned her head slightly to look at him. "I can't even find the words to describe it." She looked out at the glowing lake, the floating candles, the heart-shaped chandelier. "You did all of this... for me?"
Leo's arms tightened around her just a little more. "Only for you."
Bella's heart warmed. She leaned back against him, her head resting against his shoulder.
"I don't know what to say," she whispered.
"Then don't say anything," he murmured. "Just enjoy it."
For a long moment, they stood there in silence, wrapped in each other's arms.
Bella slowly turned in his arms to face him.
Leo looked down at her, his gray eyes soft and filled with an emotion that words could never quite capture.
"Bella," he said quietly.
She looked up at him, her eyes shining with unshed tears.
