Bella felt breathless as his intense kiss left her dizzy, her mind spinning and her heart beating like she had run a marathon. His lips had been demanding, thorough, and utterly consuming. She had tried to learn, tried to match his intensity, but in front of him, she always felt like she knew nothing at all. He made her feel like a beginner, swept away by the force of his presence and dominance. Every time he kissed her, it was like the first time all over again.
"Breathe," he laughed lightly, pulling back just enough to look at her.
