The wide streets are lined on both sides with merchant workshops.
Here lies the best silk of Jiangnan, the finest porcelain, polished to reflect the faces of guests, and there lies the finest jade.
This is the wealthy capital longed for in the eyes of Western merchants, where everyone is luxurious. Yet, it is also the devil's city they loathe the most, as here, those porcelains, silks, and gentle women would empty their last Silver.
Night falls, the sky darkens, revealing one star after another. The wind carries the scent of blood. A captured Western general is marched through this once-prosperous city, now no longer the place of his memories.
