Thick incense was lit around the Temple of Heaven, with wisps of pure white smoke winding their way into the sky, eventually reaching the clouds in the clear morning before the winds dispersed it. The civil and military officials of Great Qin stood around the temple in court attire, their hands respectfully by their sides, while the main altar, surrounded by white jade railings, was carved with the Zhou Tian Stars.
On top of it sat an ancient altar, like a whole stone excavated from the oldest mountain range. It was not smooth, yet appeared more rugged and real. On the altar was a scroll with a white jade axis, alongside ancient prayer blessing tablets.
Chu Tianxing stood on the south side, wearing snowy wide sleeves and a jade crown. In contrast, the Emperor of Great Qin stood on the north side, adorned in the most elaborate Twelve Chapter Imperial Robe, one hand holding the Emperor's Sword, the other clutching the Imperial Jade Seal wrapped in golden silk.
