Skull Knight attacked with its machete. Ryunosuke waved his hand, activating Snake Life (modified effect/story original).
"This card discards one card to the graveyard to make this battle damage become zero. And when the turn ends, I recover LP equal to the damage that should have been received."
Ryunosuke secretly discarded Neos to the graveyard to activate its effect. Flame Wingman was destroyed.
Ryunosuke's LP: 3500 – 300 = 3200 + 600 = 3800.
Kabané hadn't yet realized the seriousness of the situation, he thought his opponent was just dying and ended his turn with enthusiasm. Ryunosuke drew a card and issued a victory declaration.

"I activate Polymerization from my hand, fusing Sparkman in my hand with Flame Wingman!"
"Appear! Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman!!!" (ATK 2500).
A pure white hero figure with white wings appeared in the arena.
"Effect of monster Shining Flare Wingman: he gains an additional 300 ATK for each monster named 'HERO' in the graveyard."
"Besides Burstinatrix which you banished from the game..."
"In my graveyard there are Avian, Sparkman, Flame Wingman, and Neos which I just discarded."
"Total of 4 monsters, ATK increases by 1200 points!"
