Chapter 1 - ch 1 new life

Twenty thousand years ago—long before the Three Gods' War at Jialing Pass, where Qian Renxue (Angel God), Bibi Dong (Rakshasa God), and Tang San (Sea God and Asura God) clashed—

The Douluo Continent was already drowning in darkness.

An ancient empire once ruled the land, a civilization that had pushed soul guide technology to an unimaginable level. Their creations blurred the line between soul power and machinery, reshaping warfare and daily life alike.

And then—

It vanished.

No one knew when it fell.

No one knew how it was destroyed.

Only ruins remained.

With its fall, order collapsed.

From the shadows rose fallen soul masters—those who had abandoned morality in pursuit of power. Without laws or restraint, they spread across the continent like a plague.

What followed was humanity's darkest age.

Villages were burned.

Innocents were slaughtered.

Women were violated.

The weak were tortured for amusement or cultivation.

Hope became a luxury.

Fear became the norm.

And in that era of despair…

A child of destiny was born.

When she was six years old, tragedy struck.

Three fallen soul masters descended upon her village.

Massacre followed.

She watched everything.

The screams.

The blood.

The helplessness.

She would have died as well…

If not for the village chief.

With his final strength, he hid her inside a deep water well, sealing her fate away from the slaughter above.

She was the only survivor.

Hours later—perhaps days—she climbed out.

What greeted her was silence.

And death.

Her home was gone.

Bodies covered the ground.

The air itself felt heavy with lingering malice.

At that moment—

Something inside her broke.

A bottomless rage consumed her.

And in that rage…

Her martial spirit awakened.

Angel.

A brilliant, holy light erupted from her body, illuminating the ruins of her village. The light did more than shine—it purified. The dark, ominous aura left behind by the fallen soul masters was instantly erased, as if judged by a higher power.

Her name was Qian An.

A golden-haired girl… chosen by fate.

She remembered the village chief's words:

"Everyone possesses a martial spirit. But most cannot awaken it on their own. Every ten levels, a soul master must hunt a soul beast and absorb a soul ring to break through."

After burying the dead with her own hands…

Qian An began her journey.

She chose vengeance.

And justice.

At the age of 7, she had already hunted and killed multiple fallen soul masters between Levels 10 and 29.

That same year—

She absorbed her first soul ring.

A 1,120-year-old spirit ring.

Her growth was monstrous.

By the age of 15, she had reached Level 56, becoming a Soul King.

To ordinary people, she was salvation—an angel descending from the heavens.

To fallen soul masters, she was a nightmare.

Her holy power could suppress their corrupted energy, making her their natural enemy.

During this time, she gathered companions—people who believed in her cause.

Together, they hunted the fallen and restored fragments of order to the land.

At the age of 25, she reached Level 78, becoming a Soul Sage.

Her fame spread across the continent.

People began calling her…

The Angel.

Some even whispered—

Angel God.

But power invited danger.

One day, she and her companions were ambushed.

A Level 85 Contra, along with several high-level fallen soul masters, surrounded them.

The battle was brutal.

She survived.

But her companions did not.

They died covering her retreat.

For the first time since her village was destroyed…

She experienced loss again.

Grief hardened into resolve.

Soon after, a prince from a powerful kingdom approached her, offering marriage and protection.

She refused.

She would not belong to any kingdom.

She would create her own force.

And so—

She founded what would later be known as Spirit Hall.

At the age of 30, she broke through to Level 93—Title Douluo.

After absorbing a 100,000-year soul ring, her power reached a terrifying level.

She became the living embodiment of judgment.

Her spirit ring configuration:

Purple, Purple, Purple, Black, Black, Black, Red, Red, Red.

Time passed.

Her influence grew.

Her followers spread across the continent.

Faith in her continued to accumulate.

After a thousand years of relentless effort…

She ascended.

She became the first God of the Douluo Continent after the fall of the Dragon God Fall.

Angel God.

Her divinity was born not only from power—

But from the faith of an entire continent.

Yet even after ascension, she had not fully reached the strength of a true First-Class God. She needed time.

And it was at that moment…

That something ancient awakened.

Deep within the Great Star Dou Forest—

The Silver Dragon King opened her eyes.

An existence at the level of a God King.

A being still recovering from ancient injuries.

She sensed the imbalance.

A god born purely from faith.

Time seemed to freeze as she contemplated.

A moment passed—

Or an eternity.

Then she made her decision.

In the form of an elegant silver-haired woman, she approached silently.

When Qian An was in the midst of her transformation into a true Angel God…

The Silver Dragon King acted.

Using a method so secret that even the God Realm could barely perceive it—

She infused her blood, power, origin, and soul essence into the Angel God's body.

Into the very place where life is conceived.

A new existence began.

And yet—

At that same moment—

The God Realm noticed.

Her clone was discovered.

And destroyed.

By the Asura God King.

The Silver Dragon King fell back into slumber, weakened once more.

Her clone could not return.

No information was delivered.

She believed…

The experiment had failed.

And so—

No one knew.

Not the Silver Dragon King.

Not the God Realm.

Not even the Angel God herself.

A life was growing within her.

Unnoticed.

After ascending, the Angel God learned she could only remain on the continent for about 100 years.

So she dedicated herself to humanity.

She expanded Spirit Hall.

She created policies to benefit the people—

Free awakening of martial spirits.

Protection of civilians.

Order across the land.

Her faith grew stronger than ever.

Ten years after her ascension—

It peaked.

At that moment—

The child within her absorbed that overwhelming faith.

And was born.

But before anyone could notice—

A lingering fragment of the Silver Dragon King's power activated.

Silently.

Gently.

The child was transferred away.

To a remote coastal cliff, beside the vast sea of the Douluo Continent.

The Angel God noticed nothing.

Only a faint, unexplainable sense of loss.

As if something important had left her forever.

And there—

On that lonely cliff—

A being appeared.

Not an infant.

But a fully formed girl.

Sixteen years old.

She stood at a towering height of 205 cm, her presence distorting the space around her.

Her appearance was both breathtaking…

And terrifying.

Long silver hair, flowing like liquid metal

Deep purple-gold eyes, radiating divine authority

Six radiant angel wings on her back, similar to Qian Renxue, yet more ancient and pure

Shimmering silver dragon scales along her body

Elegant yet powerful dragon horns

A long, graceful dragon tail

A perfect humanoid dragon, with a distinctly feminine form.

Yet her body held a deeper secret.

Though she appeared female…

She possessed both male and female reproductive traits.

She opened her eyes.

Memories surged within her—

Fragments of the Angel God…

Fragments of the Silver Dragon King…

But she was neither.

She stood at the edge of the cliff.

Facing the endless sea.

Alone.

Unknown.

Unrecorded.

The wind howled.

The waves crashed below.

And the first being of her kind…

Took her first breath.
