SPLIT BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
All over the city, tens of massive, closed flowers burst through the ground and rose all the way up to fifty meters in the air.
Thousands below were crushed to death, and thousands more died from the blood mist that was being released from the hole each flower burst from. The city immediately was thrown into chaos as death and panic spread.
And with every second that passed, the flower grew thicker and slowly started moving its closed petals to bloom and open up. Mages were able to see the huge streams of demonic energy flying to each flower.
The three who watched the flowers explode through the ground from up top suddenly shifted their eyes to a corner of the hall.
Four cracks in space appeared with a black slit opening up from thin air to drop a man covered in bandages. Four bandaged men dropped to a corner of the hall and didn't even let a second pass before they slammed their palms together, and a violet eye opened on their bandaged foreheads, demonic energy oozing from each of them.
"TIME", the king shouted at Jacob as the grand magus next to him barely lifted a finger, and Jacob was thrown out of the balcony like a sonic missile.
"DEMON ART: INFINITE IMPRISONMENT", the four shouted in unison as their bodies exploded into red gore that summoned a purple pillar where they stood, destroying the walls around them as the four violet pillars connected and formed a magical prison around the two strongest men in the kingdom.
From below, the people saw a huge violet box elevate up to the sky, and massive vines broke through the ground and wrapped around the demonic prison-looking like chains around a cube, further strengthening the prison by supplying it some of the huge Demon Energy stored in the roots of the flowers.
SMASH SMASH SMASH
Jacob smashed into seven buildings, destroying them before he slowly stood up with his ears ringing. Screams faded in and out around him. Thousands surged through the streets, blood covering them. Nobles and peasants alike ran. Those who wielded aura smashed into anyone in their way, killing many just to get out of the city.
But then a massive blue magic circle appeared over the whole capital, with the magic tower as the source of the magic circle. Dozens of seven star magicians in the tower were operating this spell.
And before Jacob's eyes, millions of people faded into blue energy that was consumed by the circle. Everybody who didn't have an ounce of aura or mana was consumed.
And they were all teleported kilometres away from the capital by the spell that was pre-prepared by the grand magus for any catastrophe, especially one such as this.
Jacob reached up for his metal collar and started getting the royal armour off him. He looked up at the biggest flower in the capital, one that reached all the way to a hundred metres, and vines flew off from its base, smashing into everything around it and killing anyone close to the flower.
Their blood seeping up the spikes on the vines. Similarly, the other flowers did the same, their vines so strong that level four nights struggled to cut the vines even with their aura attacks.
BOOOM BOOM BOOM SMASH WOOOSH
All over the capital, thousands of attacks landed on each of the flowers. The powerful and capable of the capital were on the counterattack now, but Jacob knew…
AAAAAH HELP UGH
Crows surrounded each flower and dove at each attacker like rockets. The crows would explode into massive balls of black energy when they got near the attacker and kill them instantly as tens of thousands of crows flooded the capital.
'They've prepared to protect the flowers until the gates are opened…', he thought as he started running at the largest flower in the capital.
'It's time to fight for my rewards…They picked a side and I'm picking mine…', Jacob looked up at the top of the flower to see a thin man in green robes standing casually with his grimoire floating before him.
Jacob held up his hand and a pistol appeared in his hand. He shot a bullet straight at the man on top of the flower.
SPLAK
A thin vine swatted the bullet away…
"Well, if it isn't Jacob…Why are you still here? Are you really going to fight us?", the man's venomous tone reverberated through the capital as his flowers amplified his voice.
Jacob didn't say anything. He simply lowered his hand and sent his pistol back to his inventory…
'The Apostle of the Nature Guild, top ten on the ranks…And arguably the strongest apostle….', Jacob thought as he pushed his hand through his hair and looked up at the apostle. On his face was a wild smile.
HAHAHAHA
"You're laughing? You know what…I'm glad you didn't run this time…. I always thought you were a disgrace to us…We are true apostles of the gods…You are not worthy to stand among us…So I will make sure today is the day you die…", the apostle of the Nature Guild shouted with hate. For the first time, he showed his real self .
He was famous for being calm and cool at all times, never flustered or angry, but today, today he would show who he truly was…He would show them his genius…
"While you fools spent your days chasing insignificant missions, we looked ahead. We went for the grand prize…We will win", he shouted, raising his hands up in the air, and the flowers all opened up, blooming at the same time.
Their massive petals fell down to reveal the deep red within, a flower of red and black. And the moment each flower bloomed, their vines transformed in colour and shape as they turned red, and huge violet spikes filled with poison were released from every vine, killing hundreds in seconds.
Each place a spike landed turned into a cloud of poisonous clouds that would kill with one breath….
"AIR GOD SPELL: TRUE WIND SPIRIT", Jacob shouted, and all around him green winds smashed into the area and transformed into a massive green giant of colossal winds, with Jacob inside the head of the giant.
The giant stood at forty metres with its arms reaching for the air, which transformed into rotating wind blades…
Beside Jacob, a massive Frenchman reared his arm back, and behind him, a huge arm made of blue aura manifested itself…Above the Frenchman's head, two gold dice rotated and landed on sixes…
The giant arm grew twice in size, and the density of the aura was so ridiculous that it levelled a whole block in the capital just by existing….
STEP STEP STEP STEP
"Killing innocents…Children…Young Ones…Is the act of a coward…", on the other side of the Nature Apostle, a man wearing sandals spoke aloud and wore his bronze helmet with two giants of bronze following behind him.
"WARRIORS OF SPARTA", he roared, and the giants grew larger, their bronze colour solidifying.
"SHOW THEM WHAT WE DO TO SUCH COWARDS", Atreus, the king of Sparta, roared and pointed his spear at the blood flower.
The two giants each threw gigantic bronze spears of their own at the flower, which ripped through the capital and left in their wake nothing but destruction.
"You weaklings, you worms, really think you can stop me now….heheheeh", the apostle spread his arms wide.
"Nature God Spell: NATURIA SURGE", he roared, and his grimoire flipped through its pages quickly before stopping at one page.
Massive vines broke through the ground and launched themselves at the dozens of players in the capital. The vines were so powerful that they withstood the strongest of attacks and didn't stop. The vines wrecked everything with their massive size and power.
The difference in strength between the Apostle of the Nature Guild and the players around him was astronomical. His power wasn't within their reach at all. Very few on the second level could hold a candle to such power.
The fight went on for an hour, with the apostle of the Nature guild coming out on top. By that, he had survived the attack of thousands of Knights, mages, and players. Even their combined assault couldn't break through the forests he raised with one hand.
All of that, with the apostle of the Beast guild simply watching from on top of a massive crow. She opened her hand for a raven to slowly break through her skin and step out of her body gruesomely.
"READY", the raven said in a horrible human voice.
She threw the raven up in the air, and it grew larger and larger by every flap until it had a wingspan of a hundred metres, taking the attention of everyone below.
The raven opened its beak and….
KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
A horrible sound froze everyone in place as it disrupted their magic, and the power they used was hit by the raven's sound attack and broke down.
This allowed the flowers to consume their vines filled with blood without anything attacking them at the same time.
"I'm opening it", the Nature guild apostle shouted and slammed his hand down at the top of the largest flower.
The demonic energy surged from every flower and flew straight at him before he raised his hand, and the thick violet surge flew up into the air above him.
A massive black crack opened up into a storm of violet and black. Everyone's eyes went to the portal where a man stepped out of the portal.
It was a human with black horns, and his two arms had violet metal handles stabbed into them. The handles went down to two swords fixed in his hands.
The demonic human slashed down instantly, and the capital was cut in half. Thousands died just from the impact, and thousands more died from just the pressure oozing out of this demon.
"RETREAT", Jacob shouted and flew back with his huge Spirit mode flying with the aid of the winds. He knew this monster was too much for them.
From the portal, an army of demons jumped out, demons of all kinds, from demonic beasts to demon generals, stepped out of the portal. The capital was doomed. No one could stand before this monster and the demon generals.
Especially when the king and his grand magus were trapped in a prison of vines that only grew bigger when they tried to cut into it and free them.
The strongest spells of seven-star magicians couldn't break through it, nor could level six knights…
