Chapter 181 - Chapter 181: Spare Me!

Chapter 181: Spare Me!

Controlling the galloping warhorse, maintaining the consumption of battle energy, calculating the time left for "Water Walking."

It's enough!

Hawk stared fiercely at the giant swamp crocodile running ahead, his eyes filled with excitement and joy, and encouraged the surrounding knights:

"Haha, it seems we're lucky today. We go out to deliver supplies and run into a mutated magical creature."

"Even though it's a murloc, you've all seen it, this murloc can control other murlocs!"

"That's worth a lot!"

Hearing this, the other knights became excited as well, gripping their weapons tightly.

Seeing the distance between both sides closing, Bobo, no longer caring about the murlocs he had spent great effort taming, urged his brothers to run faster while muttering:

"Damn it, it's like seeing a ghost! How did these knights spot me?"

"Old Six, run faster! If you don't pick up the pace, we'll both be dead!"

What Bobo didn't know was that the experienced and battle-hardened Hawk had noticed something unusual about these murlocs from the very beginning.

The reason he had charged out was to find out what was causing this situation.

If things turned unfavorable, he would simply retreat.

If he found the reason, he could deal with it accordingly.

The moment Hawk discovered Bobo, greed arose in his heart.

Both personally and professionally, eliminating this odd murloc and the swamp crocodile became his top priority.

So he unhesitatingly used a treasured three-ring spell scroll of "Water Walking," circling around.

He used the mist to conceal his tracks, delivering a vicious backstab to Bobo from behind!

Upon hearing Bobo speak the common language, Hawk was certain that this was definitely a mutated magical creature.

Hawk recalled the last time he sold a mutated half-elf to the Pfizer Merchant Guild, earning him 5000 gold coins, and his heart burned with excitement.

Boom!

A heavy thud echoed.

The galloping swamp lizard let out a miserable cry. Bobo instinctively looked back and saw a dark red short spear embedded in Old Six's back.

Blood was continuously flowing from the blood grooves carved into the short spear.

Bobo's heart tightened as he saw Old Six's speed gradually slow down. He raised his steel trident high and let out a sharp cry.

An invisible wave landed on Old Six.

His already massive body suddenly swelled even larger, and his running speed picked up again!

This sight brought joy to Hawk, who had just finished throwing the short spear.

"A half-elf with no apparent bloodline, only compatible with power, sold for 5000 gold coins."

"This mutated murloc that can cast spells must be worth even more!"

The chase continued as both sides gradually moved away from the battlefield and plunged into the depths of the Misty Swamp.

Bobo nervously glanced at the fast-approaching cavalry behind him, his heart pounding wildly. He gritted his teeth and suddenly puffed up his large mouth, letting out a roar:

"Hoo!!!"

A pressure similar to Dragon's Might suddenly spread out.

As a high-ranking knight, Hawk wasn't affected much.

The knights behind him, with their strong wills, also just felt a little uncomfortable but managed to bear it.

However, their mounts seemed to have encountered something terrifying, neighing incessantly and panicking, causing their speed to slow down immediately.

Only Hawk's mount managed to withstand the eerie pressure, holding firm.

Seeing Old Six losing too much blood and slowing down, Bobo grew increasingly anxious.

Just as Hawk charged in, ready to swing his sword down, Bobo suddenly let out a shout and jumped off Old Six.

With incredible speed, he dove headfirst into the muddy water, furiously kicking his legs as he tried to burrow deep into the large mud pit.

The exhausted Old Six let out a wailing cry, ignoring the wounds carved into his back by the sword, and with a roar, he raised his tail high and fiercely swung it at Hawk.

Hawk sneered, his longsword glowing with icy light, and slashed at the incoming tail.

Crack!

Blood sprayed everywhere, mixed with icy crystals emitting cold air.

Severely injured, Old Six's thick tail was almost cut off.

He howled as he collapsed to the ground, no longer able to stand despite his struggles.

As Bobo was about to disappear from view, Hawk unhesitatingly pulled out a scroll from his chest, ripped it open, and threw it over.

An invisible wave pressed down on Bobo instantly.

His kicking legs froze, his entire body unable to move, as if bound by a hold spell.

Second-circle spell—Hold Monster!

Satisfied with his success, Hawk jumped off his warhorse and gently patted its neck, earning a proud neigh in response.

Glancing at the struggling Old Six in the mud pit, Hawk bent down and casually picked up Bobo, a brilliant smile appearing on his lips:

"What a peculiar little beast!"

After a while, Bobo regained control of his body and frantically kicked his legs, screaming desperately:

"Spare me!"

Just as Hawk was about to tie Bobo up.

A fierce roar suddenly came from the side.

The gravely injured Old Six suddenly opened his mouth wide and viciously bit down.

The move was so sudden, his mouth full of sharp teeth appeared incredibly menacing!

At the same time, the pleading Bobo stabbed his steel trident at Hawk's abdomen, lightning-fast.

The two who had parted ways a moment ago had completed another perfectly synchronized attack!

Unfortunately for them, they were facing an old, seasoned fighter!

Fully prepared, Hawk swung Bobo against his knee, making him dizzy and causing him to drop the trident.

With agile movement, Hawk leaped out of the mud pit, using the last bit of his Water Walking time.

While in mid-air, he pulled a spear from his back and threw it hard at Old Six, who had missed his bite.

Crack!

The sharp spear pierced directly through Old Six's body.

The clever and cunning swamp monster crashed heavily into the mud pit, weakly spraying blood, clearly on the brink of death.

Lightly landing on the ground, Hawk took a step and sank into the soft mud up to his legs.

Amused yet frustrated, Hawk was just about to struggle to his feet when a sudden and intense sense of danger flooded his mind. He instinctively rolled on the ground, trying to avoid the potential attack.

However, the soft mud slowed his movements, and he couldn't escape the gray light pillar descending from the sky.

His consciousness froze in an instant!

All his thoughts and intentions were immediately "frozen"!

Lost in the gap of time.

Shaking his head as he regained his senses, Bobo rushed toward his gravely injured brother Old Six, shouting:

"Old Six, how are you? You can't die!"

Before he could finish speaking, a silver figure landed, placing a claw on Old Six, who was playing dead on the ground.

It turned its head, gazing at the stunned Bobo with its bright blue eyes.

A dumbfounded Bobo collapsed to his knees with a thud, muttering desperately:

"Boss, spare me!"
