"A Ground Serpent Mechanical Beast on par with a Third Grade Supreme? Is the Gongshu Clan planning to completely tear apart our relationship?" Yuchang Ran's gaze turned cold as she glared at the massive serpent-shaped construct.
If the Black Tiger Mechanical Beasts could be purchased for a hefty price, then a Ground Serpent Mechanical Beast, equivalent to a Third Grade Supreme, was a priceless entity—something the Gongshu Clan would never sell.
There was no longer any doubt. The ones behind this ambush were none other than the Gongshu Clan, one of the three great clans, renowned for their expertise in crafting Mechanical Beasts!

The mechanical serpent let out a sinister laugh before releasing a strange, piercing cry. In response, the Black Tiger Mechanical Beasts' eyes flashed coldly as they lunged toward the remaining Yuchang Clan members.
Faced with the relentless onslaught, despair filled the eyes of the defenders. Gritting their teeth, they tightened their grips on their weapons, preparing to fight to the death.

But just as the Black Tiger Mechanical Beasts were about to deliver the final blow, their bodies suddenly froze. In the next instant, crackling energy erupted, and they disintegrated into blackened ash.
In mere moments, the battlefield fell silent.
Everyone—be it Yuchang Ran's group or the mechanical serpent—was left in stunned disbelief.
"W-what just happened?"
Dark ashes drifted through the air before settling, forming a thin, eerie layer over the ground.
An unnatural chill crept into the hearts of everyone present. Even the mechanical serpent, despite its formidable strength, could only watch helplessly as the Mechanical Beasts were inexplicably reduced to dust.
The remaining Yuchang Clan guards exchanged glances before quickly withdrawing to the convoy, forming a defensive perimeter around Yuchang Ran. Their wary gazes locked onto the mechanical serpent in the sky.
"Who might this esteemed senior be?"
A voice echoed from the mechanical serpent. "I am an elder of the Gongshu Clan. If we have offended you, I apologize. However, this is a private matter between us and these people. I ask that you not interfere."
Yuchang Ran and the others scowled upon hearing this. It was now clear—the Gongshu Clan had fully abandoned any pretense of civility.
The mechanical serpent's voice reverberated through the forest, yet no response came. Just as impatience flickered in its tone, an ancient voice—calm and authoritative—resounded in the air.
"Leave."
The single word carried an undeniable weight, as if spoken by a divine presence from the heavens.
For a brief moment, silence hung over the battlefield. Then, a spark of hope ignited in Yuchang Ran's heart.
A powerful expert had come to their aid!

As they set off, Yuchang Ran returned to her own carriage. However, just as she stepped inside, a strange sensation caused her to glance toward the carriage where Mo Yu resided.
A moment later, she furrowed her brows slightly before letting out a self-mocking chuckle. With a graceful step, her delicate figure leaped back into her carriage.
Meanwhile, in a carriage toward the rear of the convoy, Mo Yu, who had been seated cross-legged, slowly opened his eyes. A faint murmur escaped his lips.
"So this… is the power of a battle between Supreme experts…"
