"Thought You'd never ask…" A gleam of excitement came over McBanes eyes as he thrust Thorn forward! The sharp tip zipped through the air and sliced through Kale's shoulder, but the Swordsman was quick on his feet, hopping to the side and blocking another thrust! Each of them were expertly aimed just as a fencers should be
Another and another! They were getting quicker and quicker until it was a flurry of thrust going straight towards him! "Hora Hora Hora!"
Clink Clink Clink! Clash! Kale was keeping up well. "I'll have you know I've grown quite a far margin since the last time we fought! One can grow a lot in 4 years if they put their mind to it!"
The thrust kept getting past Kales defenses, by the time he brought his blade to block another, the Rapier had retracted and extended into another
"Rose Fall!" McBane then raised his rapier into the air, and commanded the blade to lengthen up into the air! It grew to a staggering 25 meters before slashing downwards! It cut through the wind as it slammed down!
Kale had brought both Kikumori and Senkusha up in an x shape to block the incoming strike! The impact was enough that it caused Kale to crater the ground beneath him! Buildings shuttering around him as a wave of pressure shot out behind him! Wiping out half of the City in a single blow! 100s of meters of buildings!
The steel ground against each other in a whine as his muscle strained with a mighty push! Shoving the Rapier up into the air and causing it to retract back into its normal length!
"Nitoryu! Shita-Kiri!" The First Mate dashed forward, crossing his swords and slashing deeply into McBane! The impact caused the opponent to be sent skidding backwards, blood leaking from his mouth
"Ergh…Gin-Hikaku." The Blades sliced through the top layer of clothes, the velvet jerkin, then through the Landsknecht shirt (Which were matched with the pants of the same name with a small skirt of leather from the jerkin and stockings a top it)
But as Kale pulled back the Blades. The flesh below was coated in a metallic substance. Shiny and silver. Then in the next moment, the metal pooled and formed into a inch wide circle and shot up like a geyser!
Ka-lang! Senkusha swiped through the air and knocked it out of the way, then another came from next to him! Swipe, and a leap backwards! As he did, he didn't want to leave the clash without drawing more blood!
"Issen-Ho!" He sent a flying slash straight for McBane, he raised his hand as a giant silver barrier formed!
'So He does have a devil fruit…Is it Iron?' Kale thought to himself. 'No. Too shiny.' "You weren't lying. You really have gotten stronger…This is gonna be harder than expected."
"Glad to not disappoint." Kale smirked back, crushing his feet into the ground he dashed forward again! "Silver Rose Fall!" McBane swiped his sword to the ready, and clenched his fingers before releasing them forward!
"Now have better taste of my Gin-Gin Fruit!" Dozens of silver bullets shot out of his hand! Where in mid air they formed into rose petals made of silver! Shooting through the air like a volley of shrapnel!
But the move wasn't done yet. With a flex of his arm and stroke of the blade, McBane sent a flying slash through the Petals! Causing them to be whipped into a wild and random torrent of directions!
Stings of pain covered Kales body as the jacket he wore began to be diced! Something he'd have to be momentarily upset over that later. But better chance he'd shrug it off anyway.
"Hagh…Haff." Kale grit his teeth as he ripped his coat off and tossed it aside. His shoulders huffed as he grit his teeth.
However, as he did. He began to feel something…Kale had been itching for its release, and it came on its own. A strange haze came from the hilt of Kikumori. It was not like a Heat Mirage, nor was it like smoke, fog, or steam. But closer to a visual stream of air like moisture. Thin wisps covering his hand.
It was a cooling feeling. Like menthol. The small wisps traveled up his arm like tiny wind currents.
The Pain. It began to– Go away. Kales body had immense pain tolerance along with endurance, but this feeling was nothing like ignoring what was there. It was as if it wasn't there at all…
"I see." He looked over the blade "But you're keeping it all from me…Aren't you? Fine. Let's put you to the test and show you I'm worthy!" The two stomped their feet into the ground and zipped towards each other "Gin-Hikaku Manpai!"
SIlver began to leak from his body as he dashed forward. Quickly coating his body in a silver sheen that made it look as though his clothes were forged from the Silver! Where skin was exposed, were small segmentations that made the flesh appear almost like forged armor
"Gin Bara no shigemi!" Silver thorny vines came out of McBanes back and slammed into the ground! Rose after rose sprouting across the ground straight towards Kale! The swordsman acted fast and leapt up into the air! Only for the next moment, the vines burst from the ground like serpents pouncing on a rodent!
"UramakI!" In midair, Kale pulled the blades close before swiping them out in front of him! His body spinning into an upside down position! Slashes of wind cutting around and through the silver! Causing them to explode in petals!
Landing, Kale pulled Kikumori up for closer inspection. He could feel that the blade was…listening to him. It must've been due to having already tamed that thirst for self harm that it wanted. It was closer to a disobedient animal than a wild one. Showing it who's boss was all he needed to do!
"You're gonna show me just what you've got…Right. Now!" Tightening his grip, he watched as that slight wisp rose slightly. Increasing in amount, the Blade began to shine, like the blade was– No it was sharpening itself! The Hamon line becoming a well defined wave
