This incredulous rant came from a Chinese youth named Jiang Wu, who was reading the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in his room. A recent university graduate currently job hunting, he had tried to enjoy some manga in his spare time, only to suffer a critical hit.
Yes, just like thousands of ordinary people, he was a suffering reader traumatized by the man known as JJXX.
As a long-time otaku, Jiang Wu liked many characters, and Satoru Gojo—whose name was similar to his own—ranked high among his favorites. After all, who wouldn't admire a 2D character who is handsome, powerful, cynical yet exceptionally reliable? Seeing such a near-perfect character ruined in the manga was simply agonizing.
After the blow dealt, Jiang Wu sighed and slowly accepted the reality. Forget it; a fictional character's downfall wasn't exactly breaking news anymore. He should have been used to it.
Moving on, he stopped following Jujutsu Kaisen and clicked on the latest episode of Detective Conan. This "pension insurance" for Gosho Aoyama, which had stood firm for years, was another series he couldn't let go of. However, halfway through, he could hardly bear the brain-dead original fillers that had nothing to do with the main plot. Enduring the urge to vomit blood, he closed the page.
Speaking of Conan's flaws, there were plenty.
Characters were increasingly losing their essence, the reasoning was gradually losing logic, not to mention the extremely lopsided power balance between the Red and Black factions...

If Satoru Gojo—from the time before his character design collapsed—appeared in the world of Conan, would he become a high-popularity character too? Both are white-haired; if he joined the Black Organization, it wouldn't threaten Old Gin's status, right...
Jiang Wu shook his head, stopping the unrealistic daydream. Exhausted from being hurt by two manga series simultaneously, he planned to lie down and sleep.

Amidst the "blah blah" of the mechanical voice, he gradually grasped the facts: This system was born from the brainchildren of readers.
By selecting a popular character from one manga dimension and binding them to a host from Earth for roleplaying, the character would be deployed into a different manga world.
Jiang Wu would be the roleplayer for "Satoru Gojo," deployed into the world of Detective Conan. As long as he didn't violate the fundamental persona of Satoru Gojo, he could act freely within that world.
Furthermore, in a parallel world where Jujutsu Kaisen did not exist, his performance would be published in the Conan manga as a native character. If Jiang Wu met two conditions, he could sign a contract with the Time-Space Management Bureau and enjoy numerous benefits.
First: Obtain 100,000 Impression Points from both Black and Red faction characters.
Meaning, he had to interact with the characters in Conan, spanning both sides of the conflict.
Second: Obtain 1 billion Popularity Points.
Specifically, the character "Satoru Gojo" must reach one billion fans within the parallel world's Conan manga.
"One billion fans?!"

Listening to the system's "big cake" promises and considering he was an orphan with no ties to his original world, Jiang Wu decided to gamble and accepted the invitation to play Satoru Gojo.
Then, the system's body emitted light, and several clusters of light turned into particle fragments that entered his brain.
In an instant, Jiang Wu received all the memories of Satoru Gojo—the head of the Gojo clan who was supreme in the Jujutsu world yet retained a kind heart—up until the moment he was killed by Ryomen Sukuna.
Rather than absorbing memories, it felt more like browsing through the man's life. Jiang Wu's own memory and personality weren't wiped out, but he had to admit, after gaining the memories, he felt more at home with the idea of playing Satoru Gojo.
"System, I can act freely after I cross over, right?"
"As long as it isn't excessively OOC."
"In that Conan manga where I appear, will every single one of my shots be drawn? Even Satoru Gojo has to use the bathroom..."
"No. Generally, you will only appear when the host is relevant to the plot."
"OK... I see." Jiang Wu thought for a moment and planned to have "Satoru Gojo" become a police officer or join the FBI, then find a way to go undercover in the Black Organization.
That way, wouldn't he cover both Red and Black sides!
As for Gin-pyon, though he's quite pathetic, let him keep fighting his lonely battle in the organization~
