Chapter 756: A Fierce Clash – The Force Ape Shakes the Python

On the vast bluestone plaza, two deep cracks split open across the ground. At their ends, two figures slowly withdrew their feet from the shattered earth.

Countless gazes from the surrounding crowd were fixed intently on the confrontation below. All the earlier mocking comments had vanished completely.

The scene of the black-robed figure holding off Zhao Xuan purely with physical strength had left many of the Celestial Swallowing Python Clan's members visibly shaken.

"Where did you find such a powerful subordinate?" Cai Lin asked in surprise, her clear eyes drifting to Mo Yu with a trace of curiosity.

"You'll know soon enough," Mo Yu replied with a faint smile, offering no further explanation.

Cai Lin frowned slightly, still puzzled, but turned her attention back to the fight.

In the center of the plaza, Zhao Xuan, having pulled his feet free of the stone, regarded his opponent with newfound seriousness. For the first time, his eyes reflected genuine respect.

The earlier exchange had already shown him the truth—this seemingly unremarkable youth possessed terrifying power.

Even with a divine beast body and superior cultivation, Zhao Xuan had been unable to gain the upper hand. That alone meant the man before him was a foe worth full effort.

"I must admit, I underestimated you," Zhao Xuan said quietly, exhaling.

"Perhaps," the black-robed avatar replied mildly. His expression remained calm. He knew better than to be arrogant—Zhao Xuan's power was formidable. Even with his Force Ape body pushed to the limit, they had fought evenly, no clear advantage to either side.

These divine-beast-bodied foes were indeed troublesome.

"As an apology," Zhao Xuan said, his tone sharpening, "I'll be fighting seriously from now on."

His gaze hardened. Suddenly his foot struck the ground, and a violent five-colored storm erupted around him.

Within the swirling energy, the faint shape of a massive five-colored serpent materialized behind him—its body stretching for hundreds of meters.

Hissss!

A piercing serpentine cry filled the air, cold and sharp enough to make the space tremble. An overwhelming wave of spiritual power surged outward.

"Zhao Xuan has summoned his beast form," someone in the crowd gasped. "He's no longer holding back."

"He's finally serious. That human actually forced him this far."

"But from this point, the outcome is obvious."

As murmurs rippled across the plaza, confidence began returning to the faces of the clan's spectators. Everyone knew just how terrifying Zhao Xuan was when he took things seriously.

"A Five-Colored Swallowing Python..." Mo Yu murmured from above, his silver eyes narrowing. "So that's his true form. Impressive—though still beneath Cai Lin's Seven-Colored evolution, he's certainly talented."

Cai Lin nodded gently. "Among our younger generation, Zhao Xuan ranks only behind the two Seven-Colored Pythons in potential and strength."

Mo Yu smiled faintly. "He won't win."

Below, Zhao Xuan leapt onto the enormous serpent's head, his eyes now glacially sharp.

He clenched his right hand, gathering five-colored light that condensed into a massive crystalline bow etched with ancient runes of snow.

As the bow took form, his aura shifted completely—deadly calm, boundless and cold.

His gaze locked onto the black-robed figure. Without a single word, he pulled the gleaming bowstring taut.

A swirl of five-colored energy converged, transforming into an immense snow-forged arrow glowing with deadly light.

The arrow's tip glimmered with freezing aura—it could pierce through space itself.

Shing!

The bowstring bent like a full moon. The moment the arrow was released, the heavens exploded with cascading snow.

A streak of radiant five-colored light tore through the sky, faster than thunder, aimed straight at the avatar's brow.

Sensing it, the avatar's skin prickled with biting cold. The shadow of a giant ape flickered in his silver pupils as he stomped the ground and shifted his body sideways in one powerful step.

Boom!

The arrow struck the ground where he had just stood. The earth shattered, leaving a massive crater rimmed with ice.

When the avatar landed several paces away, his expression tightened as he gazed at the frozen pit. The rock itself had been utterly consumed by frost—so cold that even contact would reduce it to dust.

"The power of that arrow… and its speed…" he murmured internally. Even with his full focus, he had barely managed to dodge.

Crack…

The faint sound of tension filled the air again. Zhao Xuan had already drawn his bow a second time—this time forming three five-colored snow arrows, each glowing with vibrant runes of frozen light.

Whoosh!

They fired simultaneously, streaking across the sky in a blur.

The avatar surged forward, his Force Ape body fully activated, tremendous energy bursting outward as afterimages trailed behind him. But before those images could stabilize, the three arrows obliterated them in midair.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three violent detonations ripped across the plaza, leaving fresh craters of ice. The avatar appeared some distance away, retreating lightly but visibly pressured.

Zhao Xuan's expression didn't change, but when he drew his bow again, five new arrows of multicolored frost formed between his fingers.

The crowd let out a low murmur of admiration. They knew this technique. Zhao Xuan's Five-Colored Snow Arrows had defeated countless challengers—none had ever survived past this point.

Even the elders nodded approvingly. Ruthless as the tactic was, victory cared nothing for style.

Seeing this, the blue-robed elder smirked. "It's decided, then. Even without Jia Qing's move, Zhao Xuan alone is enough. The Thunder Prison's claim ends here."

But before he could finish, the scene below shifted violently.

The avatar stomped down, and crimson-black energy erupted like a storm. A colossal shadow rose behind him—a monstrous ape, its savage aura sweeping outward like a hurricane.

Roar!

The phantom towered into the sky, eyes gleaming blood-red. Its oppressive presence warped the air, forcing the surrounding spiritual energy to recoil, circling outward like waves around an island of power.

Under the sunlight, the full form of the apparition became clear. The titanic ape was pitch black, its body gleaming like forged iron. With every flex of its muscles, the air trembled as if mountains might crumble under its strength.

Its face was fierce and wild; its clenched fists exuded sheer, crushing power. The air compressed into visible arcs around them, humming in violent resonance.

Every spectator froze in awe.

"That's... the Sky-Shaking Force Ape—the divine ape lineage on par with the Celestial Swallowing Python Clan!" someone exclaimed.

"No way! How can a human summon the divine form of a Force Ape?"

Around the plaza, shock rippled like wildfire.

The blue-robed elder sneered. "Hmph. Even if he can summon it, he's just a human. How much of that power can he even—"

He stopped abruptly.

Because on the field below, the battle exploded once again.

Roar!

With a thunderous bellow, the giant ape slammed its fists together and hurled one massive punch downward.

A wave of black, destructive energy burst forth from the blow, colliding head-on with the Five-Colored Python that Zhao Xuan controlled.

Unable to dodge, Zhao Xuan snapped a command, sending the serpent's enormous tail whipping up to intercept.

Boom!

The two powers collided, shaking the entire mountain. Trees within a hundred meters were uprooted and shattered, and the spectators shielding themselves in the distance could feel the crushing pressure from the impact.

At first, it seemed the clash was even—but in the next instant, the ape's eyes blazed crimson. A second wave of explosive force erupted from its fist, doubling the impact.

The serpent's tail was blasted aside. The ape surged forward and landed atop the python's skull with brutal precision.

Boom!

The ground trembled violently.

Its fist came crashing down like a hammer from the heavens, striking the serpent's scaled head.

Cracks spiderwebbed across the Five-Colored Python's glittering armor, and streams of blood seeped through its fractured scales.
