"Yes, what do you choose?" Evena asked her.
"I choose to help Rain." she revealed.
"Fine" Evena replied, he stretched out his hand and a little bottle appeared in it.
"Put this in a drink and make sure she drinks it. It will take about thirty minutes to take over her brain"
"okay" Rina took the bottle from him.
"Now, it works on everyone so make sure only the girl drinks it. Otherwise someone else would be spilling out their secrets." he said with a shrug.
"Okay, I will be careful."
He didn't answer her, instead he disappeared.
Rina looked at the bottle. Tomorrow was the mating ceremony, she would use it tomorrow, question Darla in public and hopefully get the truth she wanted.
Dinner that evening was subdued, although the whole family was present, nobody was talking.
From tomorrow, the family wouldn't be okay, the little peace they had enjoyed was going to be destroyed by an intruder. How could they be happy?
