At this moment, the players and living beings were not staring at D like he had imagined. Everyone was busy with their own things.
The living beings were overwhelmed with work. They were doing everything they could to establish a connection with the Inner World so they could enter it smoothly.
At the same time, under Pocolo's guidance, the players were carefully watching over the living beings' bodies in an orderly manner, making sure everything went smoothly.
Clearly, the unforgivable enemy who once toyed with their lives was standing less than ten yards away from them.
But at this moment, not a single person held any desire for revenge against D. Forget revenge, there wasn't even any verbal blame or condemnation.
Simply put, everyone present, both players and living beings, had completely ignored D's existence.
Not a single gaze landed on him. Everyone treated him like air, acting as though he didn't exist at all.
This scene once again overturned D's understanding.
The moment he admitted defeat, he had expected the players and living beings to judge and retaliate against him.
After all, in D's eyes, the players and living beings had undoubtedly already seen him as a heinous villain.
After overcoming countless hardships and finally achieving victory, they should have been eager to run over to him, flaunt the fruits of their victory, and mock his failure.
But among all these players and living beings present, not one of them did that.
D couldn't understand it. Why could they ignore him like this? Didn't they hate him?
The players were one thing. After all, players could revive. Even if they had been killed by the Void before, at worst they only lost a few pieces of equipment.
But the living beings were different. Their friends, families, and their own kind had all been killed by the Void. Why could they ignore him, the one responsible for it all?
The more D thought about it, the more unbearable it became. He could not understand why these people could ignore him like this.
It felt as though an unnamed fire was burning inside him. He wanted to rush over immediately and question those players and living beings face-to-face, to find out why they were ignoring him.
So he slowly stood up, trying to draw everyone's attention.
Unfortunately, no one noticed him standing.
Seeing this, he even boldly took several steps closer toward the players and living beings.
But his bold actions only caused a few players to glance in his direction before they continued with their own tasks as though he didn't exist.
Even so, D still refused to give up. He even wanted to step forward a few more times...

"Has he gone insane? What exactly is he trying to do?" Seeing D's actions below, J looked at Notch in confusion and asked.
After leaving the Nameless Land, Notch and J had come here together, silently observing everything that had just happened.
Until now, J finally couldn't hold back anymore and broke the silence.
J truly could not understand D's behavior. In J's view, D was undoubtedly someone with extremely strong pride. Once he learned of his defeat, there was no way he could face the players and living beings.
Clearly, at first D's behavior had matched J's expectations.
He didn't dare meet the eyes of the players and living beings because he was afraid his pride would be trampled underfoot.
He also refused to leave in disgrace immediately for the same reason.
So at first, J could completely understand D's behavior and thought process.
But just now, after D realized that the players and living beings were treating him as though he didn't exist, his behavior pattern immediately changed.
He actually took the initiative to step forward, wanting the players and living beings to notice him.
J truly couldn't understand what D was thinking. Wasn't being ignored by the living beings and players a good thing for him?
At the very least, it would spare his fragile pride from being crushed for the moment. Shouldn't he be relieved?
Shouldn't he be sneaking away with his tail between his legs right now?
But not only did D fail to leave, he even stepped forward trying to attract the attention of the players and living beings.
That was why J felt he had gone mad. But J wasn't completely sure. With D's mental fortitude, he shouldn't have snapped at a time like this.
That was why J sought an answer from Notch.
Hearing J's words, Notch shook his head. He didn't seem surprised by what was happening before them.
"He's not crazy. He's very clear-headed."
Hearing Notch's answer, J became even more confused. He looked at Notch with a puzzled face and said, "Then what is he... what exactly is he doing?"
Seeing how confused J was by D's current behavior, Notch shook his head helplessly and smiled bitterly.
"I never understood how D managed to fool you for so long. Now I finally get it."
"You never truly understood him."
Hearing this, J froze for a moment. He was just about to argue when Notch interrupted him.
"Don't rush to argue with me. Answer one question first."
J nodded, signaling for Notch to continue.
"Do you think D is a confident person?"
Hearing Notch's question, J lowered his eyes and thought for a moment before answering hesitantly.
"When I first got to know him, I thought he was a very confident person with a strong core..." At this point, J added, "After all, that's what he showed everyone..."
After saying this, J shrugged and sighed.
"At least from my perspective, he was much more confident than me."
"Maybe because I've always lacked confidence myself, whenever I was around people like him and you, I would unconsciously feel like I wasn't good enough."
"Every time I saw him talking confidently in front of crowds and enjoying everyone's attention... honestly, I was pretty envious."
As soon as J finished speaking, Notch immediately followed up.
"Even though you just said a whole bunch of nonsense, there was one thing you got right."
Seeing that J still looked confused, Notch stopped dragging it out and spoke directly.
"So you noticed it too. He really enjoys other people's attention, right?"
Hearing this, J still didn't quite understand what Notch was trying to say. Seeing that, Notch asked in return, "Then tell me, why would someone so confident be so obsessed with gaining other people's attention?"
Hearing Notch's words, J's eyes widened. This question was actually something he had always felt confused about deep down.
For a moment, it felt like he understood something, yet he couldn't quite put it into words. Just as he was about to ask, Notch spoke first.
"Actually, at first I also always thought he was a very confident person. Until after I left the Land of Trials and reunited with him again, a few words from him made me suddenly realize the truth."
"At the time, he looked at me with eyes full of resentment and gritted his teeth while saying these things."
"I've always been smart. I've always been smarter than you."
"So why can everyone only see you?"
"Why does everyone only revolve around you?!"
"Why are all the spotlights focused on your head?!"
At this point, Notch sighed and shook his head, his face full of helplessness.
"It was those few sentences that made me completely understand him."
