Kent stood atop the shoulder of a large Celestial-level Dark Fiend Beast that Zaila had enthralled. During the final moments of the battle, she had unlocked a much deeper aspect of her Mind Cultivation Art, allowing her—just like Adina—to enthrall beings.
Adina had mesmerized her fair share of Dark Fiends, and the same was true for Ixeron, Kent's beast companion, who possessed one of the most unique Mind Cultivation techniques in existence.
In short, Zaila could now enthrall beings, both humanoids and beasts.
Adina could mesmerize just about anyone, while Ixeron could place a Mind Hex on anyone. Of course, among the three of them, Zaila possessed the largest and strongest army due to how lethal her Enthrall ability was.
