Phanesha looked at her, the red-haired beauty who had her arms open, asking for a hug.
For a brief moment, she considered her options. She came close to landing a slap on Paragon's face—which would have felt nice and vindictive—only to pull away by this woman.
The pain from that, and the fact that the Paragon had won one over her, made her consider not hugging her mother.
However, after a few seconds of acting spoiled, she walked into her waiting arms and hugged her.
"I miss you so much, Phanesha," the woman said, enjoying the hug.
"No need to be overly dramatic, Mother. It has only been thirteen eras. You sleep longer than that," Phanesha said with a smirk, causing her mother to pout.
"There is no need to be heartless, Phanesha. If you were to have your own children one day, you would understand just how a day away from them feels. Let me tell you, it is the worst feeling ever."
