"Bang" went the sound as the office door was forcibly pushed open, Director Bru put down his work and looked up at Charlie who walked in.
His secretary stood by the door with an expression of helplessness and grievance, "I told him..."
Director Bru gestured with a hand before she finished, "Bring me a cup of coffee, and close the door on your way out."
The secretary slightly bent forward before closing the door, and Director Bru signaled Charlie to sit down, "You should have called me first, come over when I'm available."
Charlie glared at the man behind the desk, the flames of anger nearly consuming him entirely!
But, only "nearly," the flames of anger did not truly achieve that, Charlie stood staring at him for five or six seconds, then sat in the chair opposite Director Bru.
The two gazed at each other, neither speaking first, neither avoiding the other's gaze, for about ten seconds, Charlie said, "The present you and the past you are quite different."
