That sweet, clueless expression—he actually looked concerned.
「I mean, earlier—your scales didn’t go away with just a hug. So I wondered... maybe when your stress level spikes, the ‘physical contact’ needs to be more intense? If a kiss doesn’t work next time, then... I might have to, you know... go ‘farther’ than that.」
The more Wooheon replayed Yueul’s words in his head, the harder he laughed.
His chuckle once again rang through the silent office.
Nothing but the sound and echo of his laugh filled the room.
He bent over, clutching his stomach, trying and failing to keep it in.
He couldn’t help it.
