Wooheon had always been weighed down—by rules, expectations, responsibilities.
Sure, the mistake had made things hectic, but strictly speaking, it wasn’t Wooheon’s fault.
Even if the apprehension had gone perfectly, Wooseok would’ve been just as busy cleaning up the rest.

And laughter, at least, was better than burnout.
He let out a short breath of a laugh and closed the footage.
He had no idea what Yueul was doing, but whatever it was, it was working.
‘Too well, maybe.’
However, now it seemed like the problem wasn’t about Yueul—it was how attached Wooheon was getting.
“Anyway, thanks for the update. Oh—and can you tell Mr. Lee to come see me when he’s done?”
He had questions.
A lot of them.
And if he asked Wooheon directly, he knew that he’d get stonewalled with one-word answers.
“Understood.”
Jieun gave a slight nod and left the office.
