The Mermen were about to walk past the cinemas, when they saw their targets. They immediately hid in the corner and stood in the shadows, hoping that their targets hadn't spotted them yet.
"I'm telling you. It's good!"
"How can it be good? Dragon King? How dare they call themselves that? It's disrespectful."

The Mermen's targets were a group of young men who were a little more lax than the rest of the people walking around them.
They wore very stylish attire. And if one were to look closely, they would see that these people had scales scattered around some of their body parts.
They were Draconians!
Since the Chasm Bridge was the only for the people of New Sparta to leave their little island, it was inevitable that the other Beastfolks found out about the Chasm Bridge.
