The skeleton slowly hovered out of its sarcophagus, tendrils of Dark and Poison mana gathering at its porous bones. A bluish-green glow began to pulse through its frame as the energies filled it.
Suddenly, the whole chamber trembled as if struck by a magnitude-7 earthquake and dust cascaded from the ceiling while the ground beneath Michael's feet rumbled.
If it weren't for the magnificently crafted stone brick walls surrounding them, he was certain that the whole tomb would have already collapsed by now.
His eyes darted around and focused on the once-stable pillars of Dark and Poison mana. Now, their whole structure was disintegrating, unravelling into streams of mana that flowed towards the standing skeleton.
The skeleton sucked in all the mana from the tomb, absorbing everything even at the cost of damaging the very structure itself.
