An idea sparked in Michael's mind. He would admit that it was a little bit crazy, reckless even, but he couldn't help but think of the possibilities it entailed.
He looked into the skeleton's sentient eyes again, which made him feel as if he was looking at a real human. At least, the semblance of one.
This skeleton was once a normal living being with its own hopes, desires and ambitions. Not only that, but it was able to fulfil its dreams and earned the title of a proud general under the First Human Emperor.
The fact that its mere skeleton, armed with nothing but 'muscle memory', could cut through tons of solid stone brick walls like butter was an indication of its once tremendous strength.
Michael could only wonder how strong he must have been when he was alive.
And now, Michael was seeing a flicker of what the skeleton once was—in its bluish-green eyes of light.
