"ahem* enough chatter everyone let's begin the first duel practical". Sir Autumn, the instructor of the year announced loudly but not harshly in the hall.
"First up is Clara against John. " Autumn announced
"WOOOO, go for it Clara, you can do it"
"Come on John show us your practice in action."
Different people cheered loudly as the two sword user teens went onto the platform.
"BEGIN!"
As soon as the command fell, Clara swiftly pounced forward, her wooden rapier gracefully slicing through the air resistance as she stabbed at John. John however was not caught off guard as he shifted his body center lower and defensively stood with legs apart awaiting Clara's blade.
The two blades clashed and a loud *BAM was heard across the platform and hall. John quickly pivoted onto his right, deflecting the stab almost flawlessly while transitioning into an offensive stance and preparing a downward slash. Clara quickly regained balance from being deflected and jumped backwards once as she dodged a downward slash from John.
As soon as John's sword touched the ground, Clara leapt towards him once again but this time she jumped over him and lunged straight from the sky. John once again repositioned to counter the lunge but Clara just let go of her wooden rapier and swiftly spun behind John as soon as she landed.

.....complete silence spread in the hall after Clara successfully landed an exceptionally loud slap on John's face. Meanwhile the victim John.... "This is so fucking embarrassing" was dying of embarrassment from being slapped like that on his first duel.
" I concede! "
He declared loudly as if trying to forget his humiliation as soon as possible.
"Ahem* Clara is the winner, next Kazi against Kiara"
"Finally, sign, please make this snappy, I have a mini tournament to win and a letter to write ok."
"ohh, a human being pretty cocky despite being against me huh, how bold of you."
Kiara simply felt more tired upon seeing the attitude of her opponent, but perhaps his attitude is justified since all Dragons like him awaken talent of B-tier and above only.
"I just hope he won't get a Inferiority-complex after I beat him "
"BEGIN"- as soon as the command fell Kazi rushed straight to Kiara without any weapons but rather with his fist as he stretched his arm back and swung it forward ridiculously fast at Kiara.

The fist connected however Kiara simply stood completely unfazed and unharmed, the look in her eyes nearly bored from the tournament already.
"You know, I got excited to know that I had to fight to write a letter to lil' Kenny but if everyone is this weak or dumb then it removes the sense of struggle, challenge and tension and just makes it too easy. haahh, I guess it can't be helped since I'm so strong."
Meanwhile Kazi was still in disbelief of how his strike was stopped with literally zero effort by this mumbling girl. "Ahhh I must have subconsciously held back since she's a lady even if her attitude is kinda cocky"

Clara bickered and pinched her twin brother Cleave while Rey, Athena and Rose simply laughed while bragging about their wins as well.
"Oh right the rewards of winning our first official duel was permission to send a letter to our families right, but what does the tournament winner get?" Rey curiously asked
"Sir Autumn said it's unlimited permission to the training halls for 5 months as well as permission to send letters for 5 months" Rose answered politely.
Kiara and her friends merely continued the idle chatter as they walked towards the cafeteria.
