[Hours later in the evening.]
[The next section in the evening. Lefah and Garriso were playing their TV game in their bedroom. Just a second later of playing. They heard somebody knocking on their door and that was Miss Anna, but they thought that was Sofia knocking on their door since they had been waiting for her to show up.]
[Door knocking again.]
[Garriso pauses the game and continues immediately to Lefah] "Hey, did you hear that knocking?"
"Yeah, I did, bro....." [Lefah continued and responded to Garriso]
"Hey, I think your girlfriend is in the house now, bro. I mean, Sofia." [Garriso continued and smiled at Lefah]
"Eh, yo, you better get the door open, man. Hey, see, Sofia is just a friend and nothing like she is my girl, bro..." [Lefah continued when putting on his black T-shirt]
[Door opens.]
[Garriso continues immediately when he opened the door and that was Miss Anna knocking on their door] "Hey, Miss Anna...."
[Miss Anna smiled back at Garriso on the door] "Yeah, son. That was me knocking but not your girlfriend...."
[Garriso smiled and closed the door immediately when Miss Anna walked inside their bedroom.]
[Door closes.]
[Miss Anna continues immediately she enters their bedroom] "Hey, where is your brother, son?"
[Lefah appears and responds to Miss Anna] "I'm here, ma'am. Eh, yo, what's up? Um, do you need something, lady?"
"Yeah, I just want to tell you boys, the food is ready. So, you boys should join me at the dinner table now before the food gets cold." [Miss Anna smiled at them]
[Lefah walked back and had a seat immediately when Miss Anna finished talking] "Um, I am not hungry, ma'am. And I don't know about Garriso. Whether he will eat now or not, but I am not hungry please...."
[Miss Anna sighs and holds her back on to the wall] "Hmm, what's wrong, son? Hey, Garriso, is everything all alright with you and your brother?"
[Lefah takes a deep breath and continues to Miss Anna] "Hey, ma'am, everything is alright, and I just don't want to eat now."
"You have been doing this since childhood and I never liked this attitude of you, young man. Please come on, and don't let me come there, alright?" [Miss Anna responded to Lefah]
[Immediately when Miss Anna finished talking, she remembered the day Lefah told her that his dream was to play football and become a legend like Barry Sanders when he was 5 years old. Nobody could tell how it felt with Miss Anna, but tears started running down her cheeks and none of them was able to understand the tears on Miss Anna's cheek.]
[Lefah stood up and walked close to Miss Anna immediately when he saw the tears on her cheeks.]
[Lefah sighed and continued to his mother, Miss Anna] "Oh, no, what's wrong, ma'am? Uh, are you alright?"
[Miss Anna sighs and cleans her tears] "Yeah, I am good. You know, I am good, but I just remember when you were a little kid. Like how stubborn you were anytime food was ready and that was the same moment you told me that you want to play football and become like Barry Sanders...."
[Miss Anna sighed and smiled at Lefah immediately when she finished talking.]
[Lefah also smiles back at her mother, Miss Anna] "Hey, shut up, ma'am. You really scared me, and the last time I checked, you promised not to cry again, ma'am...."
[Miss Anna continued and cleared her throat] "Yeah, son, I do remember those promises, my love. But you know, I couldn't control it when those memories came into my head. Hey, I am sorry...."
"Okay, and that's alright, ma'am. But hey, not again, understand?" [Lefah continued and kissed Miss Anna's cheek]
Miss Anna kissed him back and said, "Okay, boss. It won't happen again, please...."
[Garriso cleared his throat and continued immediately to Miss Anna and Lefah] "Hey, hey, I think you guys should stop kissing when I am around. You know, it feels different when I have no girlfriend, even a mother to kiss when I need it."
[They all laughed at how crazy Garriso sounded.]
[Miss Anna continued immediately after the hugs and kisses with her son, Lefah] "Hey, shut up. I always want to do that, but you and your brother always give me excuses and never take a kiss from me. Come on, don't be jealous, son."
[Door opens.]
[Garriso continues immediately when he opens the door] "Um, okay, and that's alright. Maybe that should be some other time. Let's go and eat, guys...."
[Lefah snickers] "Whoa, whoa, hold up, I think somebody is really jealous about the kiss and the hugs, Anna...."
"Oh, whatever. Hey, see, I am not jealous, fuck that, man...." [Garriso continued immediately and left the door open to the living room]
[Both Lefah and Miss Anna giggled about how funny Garriso sounded and walked away to the living room.]
"Eh, yo, hold on, man. Miss Anna said, I should come and give you a kiss if you don't want one from her, dude." [Lefah continued immediately to Garriso in the living room]
[Miss Anna sighed and smiled in their bedroom and closed the door immediately when she walked out to the living room.]
[Door closes.]
[Some minutes later at the dinner table.]
[Miss Anna sighs and smiles at them when they are eating. Lefah and Garriso also smiled back at her when they didn't know why Miss Anna was smiling when nothing seemed funny on the dinner table.]
Lefah cleared his throat and said, "Hey, ma'am. Um, are you good? Hey, what's funny, Miss?"
"Hmm, yeah, we just smiled back, but we don't know about that pretty smile on your lips. Why don't you tell us about it...." [Garriso continued immediately when Lefah finished talking]
[Miss Anna keeps smiling and asks them to keep quiet and finish their food] "Hey, that's nothing and I think you boys should shut up and finish your food, boys..."
"No, ma'am. And you really know we won't shut up if you don't tell us about those smiles that keep coming. Come on, talk to us. We need to know please...." [Lefah responded to her mother, Miss Anna]
