It took an entire month to make it to Valtara. Of course, we did not stop at the city's official harbor. They had another hidden harbor in Valtara as well. Somewhere in Bellhaven was where we'd arrived. Bellhaven had its own harbor, but they also had one underwater, a place called the Sunked Basilisk March. It was supposed to be a place where a divine Kardia beast, one of the five known ones called the Basilisk, was said to have been sealed away. It was a myth, and apparently the entire Grand Sovereign Country of Elyria and all its cities, or rather domains, had conducted a wide-scale search in the depths of the Valtaran Abyss, which ended in failure.
But apparently someone discovered its whereabouts within the ocean, and the thieves built a harbor there. I had no idea how they did it or how it was even possible, but I found myself at the bottom of the ocean, on a harbor that seemed to have been built on a giant petrified hand.
