It has been 72 hours since the great retreat from Colorado Canyon, and the journey north and south of the Joint Train seems far smoother than expected.
Throughout the journey, besides the pervasive zombies constantly clawing at the windows from the mist, there have only been occasional Hunting Body attack incidents across train segments, causing some casualties. However, due to the fast movement of the train and the already tightly armored protection, the losses have not been significant.
Moreover, as the snow cover gets deeper, even the zombie tides have lessened considerably. Those bizarre creatures seem to be frozen in the snowdrifts by the ice and snow, yet, as the train passes through the snow layers, there will still occasionally be crimson zombies with strange appearances and tentacles all over rushing the train, eliciting screams from passengers inside the carriages.
