"It's a Locust Tree Spirit with some cultivation, probably around five or six hundred years of practice. I almost fell into its trap."
The little fox said reluctantly.
Following Xin Lin's instructions, it went to stake out in the forest.
As soon as it entered the forest, it noticed that the local Wood Spirit was not abundant.
This made the little fox let its guard down because the lack of Wood Spirit meant there weren't any formidable tree spirits or monsters in the area.
But when the little fox reached the central area of the forest, it realized it had gotten lost.
The surrounding shrubs kept changing locations.
Moreover, there was no sign of small beasts or insects around.
The little fox immediately became alert.
It quickly leaped onto a nearby tree, but multiple vines began moving swiftly.
The little fox was quite agile, yet those vines seemed as if they had eyes, darting around the little fox.
The little fox accidentally got entangled by one vine.
