"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Dracko yelled in frustration as he began pacing around.
"Calm the fuck down, Dracko," Dorianna said, even though her own resolve was just as shaken as his.
Dracko paused and then turned around, his eyes focused on Dorianna.
"Calm down?" he repeated, and then he chuckled, a sound which had no real humor in it. "You of all people should not be saying that, Dorianna. How the fuck am I supposed to calm down when Zephyr specifically said nothing should happen to his mate! He entrusted her to us!!" he growled angrily.
"We did not cause any harm to her! This is not our fault," Dorianna stated, in a bid to comfort herself as well.
"Good luck explaining that to Zephyr!" Dracko said, and his eyes turned stern as he passed his gaze to everyone around him. "When you are given instructions to watch over someone or something, to have it in your care, then you need to understand that you must deliver unfailingly."
