When Selene opened the door to find Zeeb leaning against the wall, she was shocked. She had not expected to see him; she was expecting Zephyr, and so she was a little taken aback.
"Good morning, Selene. Did you sleep well?" Zeeb asked her, straightening himself.
His smile was genuine, and there was a bright flicker in his eyes, which was normal.
"Good morning," Selene greeted softly.
Her eyes glanced around unconsciously before landing back on Zeeb, who was smirking at her with mischief clearly showing in his eyes.
"Are you looking for him?" Zeeb asked her, a knowing smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Looking for who?" Selene lied, even though she had a good idea of who Zeeb was talking about. He had seen her glance around, and so he must know.
"Zephyr," Zeeb answered, looking on at her with expectation.
"No, I'm not looking for him," Selene maintained, trying her best to keep her face straight.
Zeeb was now wearing a mischievous look on his face that made Selene shy.
