Selene's head had been in the clouds earlier on. She had been replaying the moments she had with Zephyr earlier, but his announcement of her new task quickly helped to bring her back to life.
She blinked at him, knowing that he meant every word he said. Her thoughts scrambled about as she found herself thinking of what miracle she was going to pull to get out of a maze with a blindfold.
It was obvious the three men were looking at her, waiting carefully for her reaction, and when Selene noticed it, it annoyed her.
"Well, can you lead the way then?" she said, throwing her hands up in the air.
It was quite clear she was directing the question to the three of them and not only Zephyr.
Ralph was surprised by her reaction—his eyes showed it—and Zeeb chuckled under his breath. He was getting to know Selene better, and so he knew she was speaking with a mixture of frustration and annoyance.
