It was no surprise when Dorianna passed her tests with flying colours; no one came close to beating her record amongst the soldiers, men and women.
She herself was not surprised—she had spent all night training for it—but she had not expected to fail in the first place.
When she passed the test, Zeeb blew a raspberry and rolled his eyes.
"Show-off," he said as he jotted down something on his clipboard.
"With this attitude of yours, I'm thinking of challenging you to gamma position. You might just lose it to me," she teased, and he huffed.
"Don't push it," he said. "You're not the only one who can take all tests in one day and pass, you know."
"Why does it kill you to admit how good I am?" she jeered, giving him a nudge. He rolled his eyes.
"I have your mother's final test next; I don't need your stress," he murmured and started walking away while she remained laughing.
