The picnic ended on a very good note for the trio, and they made their way back to their respective rooms and home for Isolde, with the promise to still keep meeting during breakfast and dinner until Selene's departure for the solstice, which would happen two days before the full moon.
Blaize was humming on her way towards the dining room. She was so busy replaying the good times they had had during the picnic that she did not even notice she had fallen into step with her brother.
"Blaize." She gasped and looked up to him, startled when he called her name.
Zephyr's eyebrows were creased in confusion. He had been watching her smiling broadly and humming to herself like a completely different person.
He had expected her to look up and to greet him, but she did not even bat an eye, not even when he called her name gently. She only stopped when he called her name louder.
Now her eyes were widened, looking at him in confusion.
