During the past several days, Nate had secretly investigated everything.
Almost all of his ruined plans involved Spencer.
In Nate's eyes, Spencer had become an enormous obstacle. If he weren't removed soon... he would eventually destroy everything.
However, to Nate's surprise... the entity suddenly interrupted him. "No. Do not touch Spencer."
Nate froze. There was something unusual in the entity's tone.
Almost as though it carried an emotion Nate had never heard before. He frowned. "Why? If Spencer dies, Aurora will collapse."
The entity immediately cut him off. Its voice became terrifyingly cold.
"I told you... do not touch Spencer."
The pressure suddenly intensified. Cracks began spreading across the concrete floor beneath Nate's knees.
"If you dare carry out that foolish plan... then don't blame me when I personally take your life."
Nate's face instantly lost every trace of colour. He hurriedly lowered his head again. "I understand."
